After you've had a few reps in silver league, you may want to start maxing out some of your monsters for silver league.
The max levels that you can play for silver league are level 5 commons, level 4 rares, level 3 epics and level 2 legendaries. I have a few cards maxed out for silver league, but certainly not all that I want to. This is an ongoing process that can take time.
I already talked about legendary monsters to get to level 2 in the last round because you can start playing these level 2 legendary monsters with level 3 rare summoners. For this round of upgrades, I'll focus on common, rare and epic monsters to max out for silver.
I think these are some of the most impactful neutral monsters to start maxing out for silver league. These upgrades will also work if you have level 2 legendary summoners.
Gargoya Lion
At level 5 Gargoya Lion picks up the void ability and makes a solid tank, especially in the earthquake ruleset.
Disintegrator
At level 5 Disintegrator picks up the trample ability. It's easy to overlook this ability until your opponent picks up an extra hit or 2.
Supply Runner
At level 5 Supply Runner picks up the swiftness ability, making your entire team work faster. With extra speed like this your team may take out an extra monster or 2 from your opponent's lineup before they get a chance to contribute.
Elven Defender
At level 5 Elven Defender picks up the shield ability. The raw stats on Elven defender have always been solid, but at level 5 it becomes a formidable tank to pair with any splinter.
Elven Mystic
At level 4 Elven Mystic picks up the silence ability.
When picking out new cards to level up, it's important to consider whether you'll be playing in modern or wild format. most of the cards that I discussed in today's post are legal in modern. If you start to level these cards up remember that they will revert to a lower level if you play them with a rare summoner that's not at level 4 yet, or even a level 1 legendary summoner.
I would love to hear what some of your favorite cards are to level up. I'll keep pointing out the ones I can. Another great place to find them is the cards that you get beat by on the battlefield.
