The new season has begun, and I wanted to start strong. On Day 20 of my Splinterlands journey, I decided to shake things up:
Instead of sticking with just Fire and Water, I rented cards from different elements to test which ones really shine in Modern format.
š° Rental Investment This Season
š Total Spent: 1,013 DEC, more than last season
šÆ Goal: Gain leverage and figure out the most useful cards for climbing out of Bronze faster
It felt like a bigger commitment, but if I want to push further on the leaderboard, I need to experiment.
āļø Climbing Attempts
I set my sights on Silver III today. I gave it my best shot but⦠I didnāt quite make it.
Energy points eventually ran out, so Iāll regroup and continue my climb tomorrow with fresh energy.
š Frontier Rewards ā The Big Surprise
The real highlight of the day?
I opened my Frontier rewards and pulled 1 Legendary card! āØ
That single card made the grind worth it, and itās a great boost to my collection.
š§ Lessons Today
Renting multiple elements helps me learn which splinters are strongest in different rulesets
Silver III is within reachājust needs more refined combos and smarter play
Sometimes the real joy isnāt just winningāitās opening rewards (especially when a legendary pops up!)
š¬ Question for the Community
For players grinding in Bronze/Silver, do you usually:
Focus on one splinter until you master it?
Or spread across multiple elements like Iām trying this season?
Alsoāwhatās your favorite legendary pull in the Modern format so far?
