Once upon a time ... a long time ago, there lived a boy. Much of the time, he wasn't happy. He couldn't play sports like the other boys in school. He found it difficult to make friends and talk to other people due to his social anxiety disorder. He was bullied throughout his school life and usually stayed by himself. However, the boy had a love for computers and found comfort in computer games as an escape from everyday frustrations. It allowed him to talk to people without feeling pressured by physical interactions. It was his "safe" place. That boy, as you've probably guessed by now, was me. I'm Kevin, a boy from the city of Bangkok.
Fast forward to a couple of months ago, I stumbled upon a weird card game called Splinterlands from a friend of mine and he said to me, "EZ-iest money you'll ever make while doing what you love - playing games." So I tried the game.
Starting off, I was clueless on how to play, what the cards were used for, and WHY doesn't my ranged monster attack on the front LMAO. I then went on Youtube to watch some tutorials where I came upon Bulldog1205's videos and I learned a ton of tips and tricks on the game. After a couple of videos, I tried it out and BOOM, I was on a 10-game winning streak. This got me hooked on the game and have been playing it ever since! This game has really helped me with my social anxiety disorder as I got into the Splinterlands community on Twitch where I met some great streamers including ,
,
,
,
,
,
,
, and CryptoLlama. #NoSleepGang <3 This created an output where I could interact with people and not think about the negativity around me. I hope this community will grow stronger as more people get into Splinterlands and hopefully I'll be a part of something special.
That's all for me folks. I hope everyone reading this blog post will have an amazing day ahead or if you're reading this at night, have an amazing next day!
