When the Belludae souls were released from the antiques vessel, they barely regain their orginal powers. The Planet have realized this weakness, and so they ensnared them after releasing them. Each of them were each into the realm of certain Splinter, and the Planet them to fight the Chaos Legion while they slowly regaining their strength back.
A group of souls was cast upon the Earth Splinter. Earth Splinter was a region filled with verdant nature. The earth resident know only peace and never involved in any conflict before, not before the Chaos Legion invading. Only few would raise their arms to join the calling against Chaos Legion. The remainder choose to stay in the forest, massing elemental power and tend to the wounded warrior.
The Belludae souls were moved by these forest dweller, and decided to stay with them. And when the Chaos Legion marched into the border of the forest, these souls know the forest is in great danger without their guardian. And so the souls decided to take arms by bounding with the nature. They transform into "Djinn Biljka", a spirit of the nature. And although the forest barely provide them with elemental strength, they decided to pick a clever tactics by camouflaging in the cluster of trees. They battle as a guerrilla, waiting for the Legion to fall into their ambush.
As a legendary card, it's quite difficult to get our hand on this card depending on reward card result. But since the card only cost $0.65 per bcx, its easy to purchase the card from the secondary market. As per this post was written, the 67.30% bcx of this card has been printed; meaning there's still a lot of chances to get this card from reward result. The first time you get this card, you will realize how versatile this card is. The 3 mana cost allow this card to fit in in any battle setup. But the most important aspect is the Camouflage ability; a very rare ability (there's only 8 card own it, and Djinn Biljka is the only one from Earth Splinter) which give the full protection against attack from any angle. Let's step in to our analysis!
Pros & Cons
![]() | ![]() |
|---|---|
| 1. Djinn Biljka is one of the few magic card having low mana cost (other cards like Khmer Princess or Ice Pixie have even lower mana, each costing 2 mana). Therefore Djinn Biljka have a strong magic damage output based on its damage-to-mana ratio. | 1. Speed value is at the bottom end, causing Djinn Biljka to always act the last. Although acting last is important if Djinn Biljka took role to sweep up remaining card; but once Djinn Biljka gained higher damage, its better to act earlier to deal shock attack. |
| 2. Low health are crucial for survivability. But possessing Camouflage ability, Djinn Biljka could avoid melee, ranged, and even magic attack. Thus the low health issue could be waived, and most of the time Djinn Biljka will survive as the last card standing. | |

Market Price Analysis
Price seemed to be in a downtrend in harmony with the downward pressure on the overall card market and crypto market. But we see in the last few days, Hive token have gained a price surge and the price for this card beginning to move sideway. At the time of this post is written, the regular foil price is $0.70 and the gold foil price is $19.80. The price gap is far too wide, reaching almost 1:30 regular-gold foil ratio. Its all seemed to happened because the recent price jump on the gold foil card. But Djinn Biljka is not the only card with very stark price gap, take for example Harklaw which currently also priced $0.76 for regular foil and $19.79 for gold foil.
The gap of price per bcx makes the total cost to reached max level become also very wide, with around $7.70 needed to reach max level on regular foil, but around $79.20 will be needed to reach max level on gold foil. Considering the budget, purchasing regular foil might be the best alternatives currently.
Progression Analysis
With the least progression step and the least number of level, then progression analysis for a Legendary card is always less fascinating compared to Normal, Rare, and Epic card. And then levelling up Legendary card is not easy. Not only that the cost to level up are expensive, but also the cost to level up the equivalent summoner - which provide access to such level - is also expensive (and could be exacerbate if some leap level needed, especially from Epic, Rare, or Normal summoner).
The progression consist of a two status growth and two abilities. Level 2 is the pinnacle growth. It grant two growth at once; one damage growth and Void ability. The magic damage addition is very powerful, turning Biljka into a Striker card. But Void ability will looks less useful, since the card already had Camouflage. Even if Djinn Biljka move up to the first row, Void will be less useful considering the card have very low health. Level 3 grant Weaken ability. This is a useful ability for two reason: first this debuff effect all kind of card regardless the damage type; second it cost only 3 mana to use.
The last but not the least, Level 4 grant another damage growth. It might look controversial if compared with Level 2. Why would Level 2 which require less effort grant damage growth and ability, while Level 4 grant only a single damage growth? I criticize that there should be better benefit provided for Level 4. Nevertheless, the damage growth is another powerful addition which turn Djinn Biljka damage-mana ratio equal to 1.0 tick. At this point Djinn Biljka is already a powerhouse Striker, and if combined with the Camouflage ability, Biljka could deal consistent blow each round without any intervention.
Rulesets To Be Watched
| Ruleset | Strategy |
|---|---|
![]() | Losing Camouflage ability is a substantial setback, therefore Djinn Biljka best reserved in Back To Basic ruleset. But considering enemies also losing its Snipe, Sneak, and Opportunity abilities; then deploying Djinn Biljka worth reconsideration. |
![]() | Card with low health always gained the best chances for health boost from Equalizer rulest. |
![]() ![]() | Earthquake and Noxious Fumes will quickly chip away Djinn Biljka low health |
![]() | If no direct attack able to touch Djinn Biljka, it's not the same for indirect attack. The blast damage will still shred this card and could fatally destroy it at earlier round. |
WATCH BATTLE
Here's one of my battle experience with Djinn Biljka in my formation. Click Here for the battle link. The battle has 18 mana cap, with Little League ruleset. For my formation, I used:
| Position | Card Name | Level | Mana | Health | Armor | Speed | Damage Type | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Summoner | Obsidian | 1 | 4 | - | - | - | - | - |
| 1st Row | Hill Giant | 1 | 3 | 6 | - | 1 | Melee | 1 |
| 2nd Row | Failed Summoner | 1 | 2 | 4 | - | 2 | None | - |
| 3rd Row | Queen Mycelia | 1 | 4 | 4 | - | 1 | Magic | 1 |
| 4th Row | Khmer Princess | 1 | 2 | 2 | - | 1 | Magic | 1 |
| 5th Row | Djinn Biljka | 1 | 3 | 2 | - | 1 | Magic | 1 |
| 6th Row | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - |
My opponent formation:
| Position | Card Name | Level | Mana | Health | Armor | Speed | Damage Type | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Summoner | Tarsa | 1 | 4 | - | - | - | - | - |
| 1st Row | Radiated Scorcher | 1 | 1 | 2 | - | 2 | Melee | 1 |
| 2nd Row | Antoid Platoon | 1 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | Melee | 1 |
| 3rd Row | Chaos Agent | 1 | 1 | 1 | - | 2 | None | - |
| 4th Row | Serpentine Spy | 1 | 3 | 1 | - | 3 | Melee | 2 |
| 5th Row | Parasitic Growth | 1 | 4 | 2 | - | 1 | Melee | 1 |
| 6th Row | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - |
At the preparation step, my formation already gained the upperhand when the opponent focused on full melee Striker without any anti-magic protection, while my formation deployed full magic Striker buffed with Obsidian +1 magic damage. In addition my opponent also utilized 1 mana less than the mana cap. Queen Mycelia is the secret component in my formation, where its Protect ability give additional fend off against melee attack.
My opponent have better initiative and combined with 2 cards having Opportunity ability, they able to make an ambush attack crushing Khmer Princess. Fortunately Khmer Princess joined with Mycelic and Djinn Biljka able to cast spell against Radiated Scorcher and Antoid Platoon. Both of us lost a card, but my formation still gained the upperhand having larger health and thicker armor.
Djinn Biljka with only 2 health was supposed to be the main target of Serpentine Spy and Parasitic Growth. But Camouflage cover it from incoming attacks, and then redirect it to Hill Giant. Having 4 health still isn't enough for Hill Giant to survive. Once my turns arrive, Mycelia and Djinn Biljka each score a kill reducing my opponent formation to 2 cards remaining.
Round 3 and the battle continues. Serpentine Spy refuse to back down and strike directly into Failed Summoner armor. But it was a futile attack, since Mycelia and Djinn Biljka again combined their attack to blow Serpentine Spy and Parasitic Growth.
Once the Round 4 started, the fate is sealed for my opponent, as now he only have a single card with 1 health. It only need a single magic attack and the battle ended.
CONCLUSION
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Djinn Biljka fit in very well in my formation. One of the most important aspect of Djinn Biljka is its Camouflage ability. Its the best ability to be used by a pure Striker card (card having high damage output but low health) where they will be protected from all kind of target altering ability (Sneak, Opportunity, Snipe, etc.). The last row is the best position if the card is planned to be the last card standing (fortunately currently there are no cards possessing both Camouflage and Last Stand ability). Progressing to Level 2 is the first important step to gain the best potential of Djinn Biljka. With further progression, Djinn Biljka will gained more damage and turn into stronger Striker which justify its use of Camouflage ability.
Do you like DJINN BILJKA? Why or why not?
Having Obsidian as the default summoner under Chaos Legion edition turn meta on magic card of Earth Splinter. This includes Djinn Biljka which in turn will have 2 magic damage (and of course at Level 2 will have 3 magic damage). Djinn Biljka and Khmer Princess combined can turn into deadly Striker on low and middle mana cap battle. And by bringing along Queen Mycelia, the formation can turn into formidable full fledge magic legion.
