SPLINTERLANDS - BUDGET WAY TO DESTROY LLAMA+ KRON

Hello world and fellow crypto gamers

Today I've got the honor to present you with an awesome Tank Monster and I will grab this opportunity to show you again one of the most effective combos in the game! The reason is the Splinterlands's Share your Battle Challenge! I highly recommend getting involved with the game and with this challenge! If you are following up with my posts, you know that I am always trying to promote the highlighted card in an instructive way! So today we are going to promote Chaos Knight and what a better way to do it by smashing the Kron- Llama Combo!

Review of the card

Our spotlight card is an awesome tank for Life class, the Chaos Knight! A perfect mid-range tank option in my opinion and in certain cases may be a definitive reason to win a game! The stats are decent from level 1 and the first minor upgrade is at level 3 with an extra Attack and the next major upgrade comes at 5 level with the ability Giant Killer, meaning that does double damage at a monster that costs 10 mana or more. Also, at level 9 it gains the ability inspire, meaning that it gives a +1 melee attack to all friendly monsters!

The Battle

Ruleset

The determinative rule we have in this battle is the Equalizer, we've seen this rule before but I will explain it once again for those who are not familiar with my posts and the game! That rule makes the initial health of all monsters equal to the monster of either team with the highest base health! Also, the rule Healed out is applied, which means that there are no healing abilities in this game! The mana cap is 38 and we are limited in Earth, Life, and Death classes!

Team Formation & Round 1

The matchup is going to be very difficult because our opponent plays the famous combo of the Earth class! That combo includes two cards the first one is the summoner Scarred Llama Mage and the second one is Kron the Undying! The reason is that if the Kron is the last monster alive in the battle it will gain the Last Stand ability and is pretty much unbeatable! The solution to this combo is pretty easy to spot and the Sneak ability is going to do the dirty job for us! Now let's analyze the battle!

We will begin with the formation of our opponent and I will try to spot only the misplaces that I think played a significant role! Queen Mycelia and Halfling Alchemist should be at the mid and last positions and also the Kron would've been better in the third or fourth position! One final thing is that I Wood Nymph was not good in this battle because of the rule Healed out and if it was used only for the magic damage should have been placed in the second position to tank some damage!

Let's review our position now, at the first place we placed the Chaos Knight, we explained the reasons above.

At the second position we placed the Silvershield Warrior, the reason is that it has pretty good stats and the Reach ability is perfect to push some extra damage in the opponent's tank!

In the third and fourth positions, we placed our own combo of Silvershield Knight and Silvershield Assasin, I have described this combo again and it's just work amazing in various situations! You can check more about this combo HERE.

In fifth place, we placed Stitch Leech because we are going to focus on putting more damage in the last monster of our opponent's team

The last spot was filled by the Sand Worm and you can easily understand how much damage is this card going to do in the poor Kron!
