In the Splinterlands community we are having fierce discussions regarding bots. Some want it to be available to use them to leverage their investments while others believe its destroying the ecosystem. This tug and pull maybe one reason why we are seeing the overall card market prices falling.
Currently the Chaos regular max level set of cards is trending down and for weeks. The demand still appears strong as new cards coming on the market at lowest prices are being snatched up quickly.
However even with sufficient amount of sales going around the bigger question is when will prices stop failing? As of now we are still above all time lows but the trend is against the bulls.
Even resale of Chaos packs or Nightmare packs have prices on the decline. The legacy cards although very limited in quantities remain closer to their annual lows than at the highs. There just seems to be too much pressure in the prices to the downside.
Even the in game tokens such as DEC and SPS remain in a downtrend which is not helping asset prices.
Bottom Line?
This may all sound very negative but I personally believe this is ideal time to continue investing into Splinterlands. In the past I remember when asset prices in the game remained at low prices for months. Once a bull market came the assets and tokens just mooned. It can happen again and I am trying to prepare for it.
I am personally saving as much DEC and SPS as I can along with building up my collection of cards. I remain focus at the long term which is to see Splinterlands 10x from where it is today. The risk of it not happening is less likely than selling now since prices are closer to all time lows than its highs. There are risk but having been through the peaks and valleys of Splinterlands I am riding it through and awaiting for our run to the promise land. What are you doing in the current down trend?
