It is coming. The artwork on Land 1.5 are provided in the latest town hall and it appears it is in sight for a day coming up very soon to be rolled out. The interface and programming has progressed and testing has been going behind the scenes. Yet it seems the day of introducing Land 1.5 is getting closer than ever before.
Mulitple updates in Splinterlands itself is being rolled out in the next day and weeks ahead. The biggest update to come in the next day has to do with daily focus rewards. The update supposedly won't allow bots the advantage of receiving rewards but instead allow active players the same opportunities of earning rewards.
There is also progress with Tower Defense game and although a set date of grand opening remains hidden it sounds closer to date that it will be coming live very soon.
Security of accounts and assets will also be updated which I think is a good thing as this will protect users as future upcoming updates will certainly increase control and ownership of further assets.
July 25th is the set date where developers are launching no bots in modern league. This is a big one as that means it is expected that bots are blocked from modern league being used. From the discussions in the town hall it seems current bot providers are in agreement to not allow their services to be used in modern league. However the developers are honest to mention that not all bots maybe blocked. For instance if players used a both helper to organize formations it is not feasible to stop. Further proposals to stop additional ways of the use of bots to help players will need to be brought up and receive sufficient approval before executing other developments to stop other ways bots are used in game play. Yet for now it appears we are set for the date where bots are to be stopped coming in less than a week. Time will tell if this will be the update needed to stop bots.
