Hello friends, I hope everyone is well! Splinterlands is not just a game; it is now another name for excitement for me. It is difficult to express in words the thrill of opening new challenges and packs in this game every week. In this week's social media challenge, I am going to share with you some of my recent great moments. Today I bought a Gladius case with the rewards I received from the guild and opened a pack of Fortune mode. Believe it or not, today was a very lucky day for me! Let me tell you the detailed story of my adventure.
The joy of winning Guild Brawls and Merits:
The real fun of the game begins when you are associated with a good guild. My guild members are very active, and we participate in Brawls regularly. I've been a bit busy these past few days due to Christmas celebrations, but when I entered the guild chat box, I saw a huge piece of good news!
My eyes widened when I saw the system message! Our guild,d Focus Lod,ge has been upgraded to level 5, and we won 22 crowns in the latest Brawl. But the most joyous thing for me was my personal reward. I received 962 Merits for participating! These Merits are like gold to me, because they can be used to buy the coveted Gladius case. Seeing the guild leader and other members exchanging Christmas greetings in the chat box made me feel good. When a gaming community becomes like a family, the joy of playing doubles.
When I had enough Merits in hand, what was the delay? I went straight to the guild store. My balance had accumulated over 2000 Merits.
I was excited to go to the store and look at the 'gladius case'. I bought 1 pack for 2000 Merits. Gladius cards are soul-bound, meaning they cannot be traded, but there is no substitute for these cards to win in Brawl. Especially with the 'bloodlust' ability, these cards can turn the tide of the game. When I saw the words "you have packages" in the inventory after buying the pack, I thought to myself, Will I get anything good today?"
Pack Opening: Mystery and Achievement:
The moment of opening the pack was the most exciting. When the magical animation started on the screen, and I was waiting for the cards to be flipped, I was really nervous.

Five cards were revealed one by one, and I was quite pleased with what I got!
Isgald Vorst (Common): This card of the Water element is my favourite. Its 'Opportunity' and 'Bloodlust' abilities target the opponent's weak monsters and make them stronger.
Witch of Warwick (Common): This card of the Death element is simply amazing. Every time it attacks and deals life damage, its life increases (Life Leech). It also has Bloodlust!
Alfredo (Rare): This is the rare card of this pack! Although Alfredo is not very strong, he can be useful in low-mana matches as a range attacker.
Bertrol Gobson (Common): A good sneak monster for the Earth element.
Alva the Crusher (Common): The name says it all! This is a great "tank" card. Its shield breaking ability and defence are quite good.
Overall, the Gladius case did not disappoint me. Getting Ysgald and Witch of Warwick was a big win for me.
Fortune Mode Foundation Pack Surprise:
I decided to open my Fortune Mode reward pack as soon as I finished the Gladius Case. It's a real treat to get cards in the new reward system these days.

When the cards came out after the animation, I saw quite a variety.
In this pack, I got:
Vengeful Monk (Rare): This card is as cool as it looks. This Human Unit card added a new dimension to my collection.
Kanaaq Miner & Hungry Ulund: Although these are common cards, Hungry Ulund's healing or tanking ability is quite useful in certain rulesets.
Spinetail Fiend & Grand Consul Minion: These cards can be used as fillers in low-mana battles. These are especially useful for decorating dragon or neutral decks.
New Summoners Strength Test:
In today's card collection, my eyes were caught by two new Soul-Bound Summoners. They can completely change the meta or strategy of the game.
- Avina of the Wolf:

This Life Summoner seems like a game-changer to me. Its biggest feature is its dual choice or tactics. I can decide during the battle whether I will increase the speed of one of my units (+2 Speed) or give one of my units the 'Heal' ability! Think about how annoying it can be for the opponent if you add healing to a powerful tank! Or you can also take advantage of attacking first by increasing the speed.
Fithe Bladestone:

This summoner of the fire element is for defence lovers. Usually known for fire team attacks, but using Faith Bladestone will give all my friendly units +2 Armour. Plus, his second option is more strategic. When the opponent comes with melee or sneak attacks, this extra armour will help my team survive. Having such a defensive summoner on the fire team is really great.
Today was an amazing day for me in Splinterlands. Getting merits from the guild, getting cards like 'Isgald Vorst' from the Gladius Case, and analysing the abilities of the new summoners—all of it was a great experience. With these new cards, I will definitely be able to perform better in the next brawl and ranked matches.
For those of you who haven't started Splinterlands or joined a guild yet, I would say—join very quickly. Because the real fun of this game is not playing alone, but with the community and through guild wars.
I'm ending it here like today. See you on the battlefield!
