Another Splinterlands season has come to an end. Time seems to be flying by; it seems like we started the season yesterday, and today the bell has rung for a new season. However, as Splinterlands players, the end of the season is the most exciting time for us. Because, after a whole month of hard work, when the "Season End Reward" or prize arrives, all the pain disappears in an instant.
Today was a special day for me, because I was able to finish the last season quite successfully. I am sharing with you the detailed experience of the rewards I earned and the new assets I bought with those rewards.
End of Season Achievements and Rewards
First of all, if you look at my end-of-season screenshot, you will see that I finished last season in Gold I on Fortune. This was a pretty good position for me. I received 43,439 Glint as a general reward at the end of the season. But the surprises don't end there! I took 21st place on the leaderboard in the Modern League Gold 3 ranking. For this great performance, the game gave me an additional 25,000 Glint bonus. In total, at the end of the season, I had about 73 thousand (75,034) Glint tokens deposited in my wallet! Seeing such a huge amount of Glint balance really filled my heart.
Starting the new season and shopping plans
As you can see in the second picture, the new season has started, and my current rank is now Silver II, with a rating of 1400. According to the new season rules, the "Rebellion" and "Conclave Arcana" sets are playable. Seeing my Glint balance at 73,034, I couldn't wait any longer. I decided to spend these Glints on increasing the strength of the team and buying some hobby items instead of hoarding them.
Exciting unboxing of loot chests
At first, my eyes were drawn to the chests in the reward shop. Due to this year's Valentine's event or "Amorendel", the chests were designed in a beautiful red heart shape theme.
Ultimate Chest: I took a big risk at first. I bought an Ultimate Chest by spending 10,000 Glints. Because it has the highest chance of getting the jackpot andhigher-rarityy cards.
Major Chest: Then I bought 3 batches of Major Chests by spending 7,500 Glints.
As I opened the chests, my heart was pounding. The chest opening animations were amazing—like opening a magic box!
What did I get from the chests?
After opening the chests, I got several useful items.
Resources: I got several Merits (like 725 Merits at once), which can be used to buy the Gladiator Pack. I also got energy refills, which will help me battle more.
Card Collection: Among the cards, I got the 8-mana Earth element common card "Shadowcomb Duskrose". It is a powerful melee unit. I also got the 9-mana rare card "Grove Doomblade". Although I didn't get any big gold foil legendary, it's always nice to add new cards to my collection, and they will strengthen my deck.
Stocking up on potions for the future
I believe that it's better to create opportunities than wait for opportunities. I also prepared today to increase my chances of getting good cards when I open a pack in the future.
Legendary Potion: Using my Guild Lodge discount (8% off), I bought 200 Legendary Potions for 14,720 Glints. This doubles my chances of getting Legendary cards from the pack.
Alchemy Potion: Similarly, spending 18,400 Glints, I bought 200 Alchemy Potions, which increases my chances of getting Gold Foil cards in the future. Now my inventory is quite rich.
Exclusive Skin Collection: A touch of flair
As a gamer, I not only want to win, but I also want my cards to look beautiful and unique. This year's Valentine's Special "Sweetheart" skins really caught my attention.
I bought the "Sweetheart Buttercup Mauler" common skin for 500 Glints.
Then I spent 2500 Glints to buy the rare skin "Sweetheart Kaylia Silverleaf".
Using these skins instead of regular cards creates a different nobility or "feel" on the game field. These skins in shades of red and pink are really amazing to look at.
Energy Refill: Preparing for Battle
Finally, since the new season has started and I need to get back to the Gold or Diamond League, I need a lot of energy. Without sitting around, I spent 8,125 Glints and bought 30 Energy. Because in the Silver 2 League, energy is consumed for each match, and I didn't want my rank push to stop due to a lack of energy.
All in all, the rewards of last season and the start of this season have been great for me. 73 thousand Glints may seem low to some, but to others, it is a lot. But I am very satisfied with the way I planned and spent these tokens on chests, potions, skins, and energy.
This purchase not only strengthened my deck but also mentally strengthened me for the new season. Hopefully, I can perform well in this new season and snatch such big rewards again.
What did you get at the end of this season? What did you buy with your glints? Don't forget to tell me in the comments! Happy gaming!
