Guild Brawl and Gladius Pack Opening in the Splinterlands game world are always exciting experiences. Especially when you work hard to accumulate Merits and open the packs with the hope of getting new cards with those accumulated Merits. Today, I will share with you one such experience in which I opened four Gladius cases at once.
Those who play the game regularly know that Gladius cards are a bit different from normal cards. Their special 'Bloodlust' ability can turn the tide of battle at any time. I had accumulated quite a few Merits, so I thought I would open the packs today. I went to the Guild Store and saw that I had more than 10,000 Merits.
It takes 2,000 Merits to buy each Gladius case. So I decided to spend a total of 8,000 Merits and buy four packs. But just buying packs is not enough, you also need some boosters or stones to increase your chances of getting good quality cards. So I thought of buying some Blood Stones and Power Stones.
Blood Stones basically increase your chances of getting Legendary cards. I collected 20 Blood Stones so that my luck would be a little more favourable when each card is generated. Then I looked at Gold Foil Cards. Because getting a Gold Foil Card means that your account value and your dominance in the game will increase a lot.
I also bought 13 Power Stones to increase the drop rate of Gold Foil Cards. After all the preparations, I now have 4 packs and enough booster stones. Now I just have to open the packs. Honestly, this moment before opening a pack is always quite exciting.
While opening the pack, there was a hope in my mind that I would get at least one gold foil or a good-quality rare card. As soon as I opened the first pack, my eyes widened. I got more than I imagined. The gold foil 'Katreba Gobson' came out of the first pack.
Katreba Gobson is a very powerful card, especially its sonic attack and bloodlust ability make it unique. And when it is available as a gold foil, there is no limit to the joy. This pack also had a rare card 'Kotriphus Bayne'. All in all, the first pack was amazing in a word.
This card will greatly increase the power of my Earth unit. Then I opened the rest of the packs one by one. After opening the second pack, I was not disappointed. There were two great rare cards there, 'Sarius' and 'Ajax Lightfoot'. Although there was no gold foil, the cards had a lot of utility.
There was also a kind of excitement when opening the third pack. In this pack, I got 'Relenor Cleaver', which is a great rare card. Gladius packs are guaranteed to have at least one rare card, but when you get more than one good card, it is considered a bonus.
Finally, it was time to open the fourth pack. Luck was not too bad in this pack. From here, I got 'Liza Fox', which is also a rare card that is well known for its remote attacks. In addition, there are cards like Helmet Kharafax and Bertrol Gobson as common cards that will help level up the card.
Today's pack opening session was very successful for me. I think it was worth spending my merits, especially after getting the Gold Foil card.
