I've been playing Splinterlands for several months now and I'm slowly building up my deck. One thing that I've always dreamed about, but have never acquired yet, was a gold foil Legendary card. I've seen many, many posts from different Splinterlands enthusiasts showing off their latest gold foil Legendary card. But the excitement of revealing one of my own has always eluded me. It didn't matter if it was from Loot Chest, Orb or Booster Pack, my results were always the same, occasionally a Legendary card or a gold foil card, but never a gold foil Legendary card.

Until today!

Finally!

Today when I finished my daily quest and opened my three Loot Chests, the first one started vibrating and I knew that my legendary potion had struck pay dirt. But then I heard that eerie noise that signaled a gold foil had arrived and I saw my newly revealed Legendary card turn Gold! An extremely rare stroke of luck, both potions had payed off.

I immediately went to the market to see what my new card was worth and was very excited to see that the market price was $80. No wonder it is so expensive, there are only 62 of them in existence.

When I looked a little deeper into the details of the card I found out there is currently only one for sale in the market.

There's no chance I'll be selling this card. I'll have to beef up my water splinter summoner some to make full use of this card. But that's something I've been working at for a while anyway.

I did notice that it has a burn value of 75,000 DEC. That is not something I'm interested in. No way I will ever burn this baby.
