Introduction
Yesterday, a new idea for the market listing fee and expiration was announced (@splinterlands/market-listing-fees-and-expiration). In this article, I want to focus on the second part of the announcement. I think it's a great idea, but it could also be a little inconvenient for players.
How would I know which cards have been delisted?
I can imagine a situation, especially for players with large collections, where they only rent out a portion of their collection. In such cases, if some cards are delisted, the players may not be aware of it. They would have to constantly check which cards have been listed for sale or rent, and at what prices. They may need to keep an external registry for this purpose, such as an Excel spreadsheet.
Potential solution
If the SPL team provides additional information about cards that markets fetch from the API (cards by IDs and collection requests), then markets like https://monstercards.store/ could handle that for users. This way, users could be informed about expired cards automatically after fetching their card collections.
