Hace ya un mes que empece a hacer esta serie de publicaciones y luego de mucha investigacion y esfuerzo hoy les traigo la ultima parte, la que mas he estado esperando porque lo que mas me gusta jugar en Splinterlands es Dragon, este es de lejos el Splinter mas fuerte de todo el juego y eso no es ningun secreto, sus cartas se pueden combinar con cualquier elemento pero estas son mucho mas potentes que las neutrales asi que es de lejos el Splinter mas versatil de todo el juego y ademas tiene algos Summoners que son una cosa espectacular cuando los analizas bien y creas grandes estrategias alrededor de ellos, en este post les traigo un deck Dragon muy poderoso para jugar en rango Plata.
Como he dicho en todos mis anteriores posts (excepto en el de Muerte que fue el primero) el mazo esta enfocado al proximo formato Modern y como en Peakmonsters ya podemos filtrar estas cartas, ahora solo te queda leer este post para que sepas cuales son las cartas que te haran ser de los mas competitivos de tu liga.
Este mazo sera unicamente de Dragones aunque si mencionaré ciertas cartas neutrales que ayudaran muchisimo a su funcionamiento, mas no las voy a agregar en la lista porque ya lo hice en posts anteriores y creo que a esta altura ya se entiende bien la utilidad de estas.

Until Today it's been a month since I started this series of OP Silver deck's posts and after a lot of research, comparisons, tests and effort today I bring you the last part, the one I've been waiting for the most because what I like the most to play in Splinterlands is Dragon element, this is by far the strongest Splinter in the whole game and that's no secret, his cards can be combined with any element but these are much more powerful than the neutrals so he is by far the most versatile Splinter of the whole game and also has some Summoners that are a spectacular thing when you analyze them well and create great strategies around them, in this post I bring you a very powerful Dragon deck to play in Silver rank.
As I have said in all my previous posts (except in the Deathwing post which was the first one) the deck is focused on the next Modern format and as in Peakmonsters we can already filter these cards, now you just have to read this post so you know which are the cards that will make you be one of the most competitive in your league.
This deck will be only of Dragons, although I will mention some neutral cards that will help a lot to its operation, but I will not add them in the list because I already did it in previous posts and I think that by now you already understand the usefulness of these cards.

¿Cómo armar el mazo?
Recuerda los niveles limite de las cartas para rango plata, que son:
- Común - Nivel 5
- Rara - Nivel 4
- Épica - Nivel 3
- Legendaria - Nivel 2
Ahora para saber que cartas sirven para el formato Modern lo unico que tienes que hacer es ir a la pagina de rentas de Peakmonsters y ajustar las opciones como veras en la imagen de abajo ¡sencillo y para toda la familia! que gran trabajo el que hace Peakmonsters.
Sabiendo esto vamos a empezar a hablar de las cartas que conformaran el mazo.
How to assemble the deck?
Remember the card level limits for silver rank, which are:
- Common - Level 5
- Rare - Level 4
- Epic - Level 3
- Legendary - Level 2
Now to find out which cards are suitable for the Modern format all you have to do is go to the Peakmonsters rental page and adjust the options as you will see in the picture below. Simple and family friendly! What a great job Peakmonsters does.
So knowing all this data let's then start talking about the cards that will make up the deck.
Los Invocadores.
Este es quizas el mas complicado de escoger de todo el elemento y es que para elegir uno hay que tomar en cuenta todas las variables, el precio, hacia que elementos nos vamos a enfocar (recuerda que el Splinter Dragon funciona mas combinado que individual) y su rango de maná y por supuesto, su buff.
Organizados segun su precio (nivel maximo para Plata) la lista nos queda de esta manera:
- Kretch Tallevor 74$
- Quix the Devious 98$
- Camila Sungazer 145$
- Drake of Arnak 161$
- Brighton Bloom 224$
- Byzantine Kitty 1425$
Tomando en cuenta sus estadisticas y sus precios, yo creo que la mejor opcion varia de acuerdo a tu presupuesto:
Bajo presupuesto: Quix the Devious y Camila Sungazer. ¿Por que? pues a pesar de que Kretch es mas barato yo no lo veo tan util en Plata primero porque aparecen mas batallas con mucho maná y segundo porque no tiene ningun buff, ademas abajo explico una estrategia fulminante con Velocidad usando a Kitty y si no la tienes porque no te alcanza, puedes hacer algo parecido con Quix (que es legendario tambien, es decir mas raro) y con Camila puedes combinar muchisimo para batallas de Melee, sabiendo que para este formato no va a estar Zyntar Mortalis y ademas es una alternativa si no se tiene a Mylor.
Alto presupuesto: aqui con todo, Byzantine Kitty es todo lo que vas a necesitar y si sigues teniendo presupuesto luego de ella puedes comprar al que mas te guste, te recomendaria a Brighton Bloom para otra estrategia que tambien explico mas abajo.
The Summoners.
This is perhaps the most complicated to choose from all the elements and to choose one we must take into account all the variables, the price, towards which elements we are going to focus (remember that the Splinter Dragon works more combined than individual) and its mana range and of course, its buff.
Organized according to their price (max level for Silver) the list looks like this:
- Kretch Tallevor 74$.
- Quix the Devious 98$.
- Camila Sungazer $145
- Drake of Arnak $161
- Brighton Bloom $224
- Byzantine Kitty 1425$.
Taking into account their statistics and their prices, I believe that the best option varies according to your budget:
Low budget: Quix the Devious and Camila Sungazer. Why? Well, even though Kretch is cheaper I don't see him as useful in Silver first because there are more battles with a lot of mana and secondly because he doesn't have any buff, besides below I explain a strategy to use Kitty for speed and if you don't have it because you don't have enough, you can do something similar with Quix (which is also legendary, that is to say more rare) and with Camila you can combine a lot for Melee battles, knowing that for this format will not be Zyntar Mortalis and also is an alternative if you don't have Mylor Crowling.
High budget: here with everything, Byzantine Kitty is all you will need and if you still have budget after her you can buy the one you like the most, I would recommend Brighton Bloom for another strategy that I also explain below.
Las Cartas.
Abajo dejo la lista de las cartas que deben estar en el mazo a mi parecer, las que tienen un doble punto (* *) son las que para mi pueden ser opcionales bien por que se pueden sustituir con otras o por que se pueden omitir debido a un alto precio, en caso de que no puedas apuntar a ellas, y a su lado veras el precio actual estimado para comprar cada una de ellas al nivel máximo de Plata.

Hablemos de los números:
Comprar este set a su nivel máximo para Plata te costará aproximadamente 3.150,51$ (1.601.682 DEC) incluyendo todas las cartas que mencioné. Alquilarlo en su totalidad te va a costar aproximadamente 357,25 DEC/día que al precio de hoy serian 0,70$, aproximadamente 10.5$ por una temporada de 15 días, es decir que con lo que vale comprar el set podrías alquilarlo por alrededor de 4,500 días que es mas o menos 12 años, creo que la brecha entre alquiler y compra de estas cartas es absurda y eso se debe a la rareza de estas y a su enorme poder. Y hablando de poder, el set entero a este nivel te otorgará 41,100 CP que te colocaría en Plata 2.

And now comes the real power.

Let's talk about the numbers:
Buying this entire set at its maximum level for Silver cap will cost you approximately 3,150.51$ (1,601,682 DEC) including all the cards I mentioned abofe. Renting it in its entirety will cost you approximately 357.25 DEC/day which at today's price would be 0.70$, approximately 10.5$ for a season of 15 days, that is to say that with what it costs to buy the set you could rent it for about 4,500 days which is more or less 12 years, I think the gap between renting and buying these cards is absurd and that is due to the rarity of these and their enormous power. And speaking of power, the entire set at this level will grant you 41,100 CP which would put you at Silver 2.
¿Como actuar de acuerdo al ruleset?
Antes de hablar de esto hay una parte importante que hay que mencionar y es que este mazo tiene 2 grandes problemas. El primero es que su costo de mana en general es muy alto y eso lo hace casi imposible de usar en batallas de bajo maná y el segundo es que casi el 90% de su verdadero poder esta en sus cartas legendarias y sabes lo que eso significa? que cuando estas cartas estan prohibidas el set se vuelve practicamente inutil. Por eso siempre debes ver al set Dragon como un acompañante de otro elemento, una especie de set de cartas neutrales con un poder exagerado.
No voy a hablar esta vez de rulesets especificos porque simplemente no terminaria hoy, estamos hablando de que para cada ruleset puedes crear estrategias con seis elementos diferentes junto a este. ¡Podria hacer un post diferente para cada uno de ellos! y aun asi creo que me faltarian detalles por agregar, eso es lo espectacular de los Dragones en Splinterlands.
Asi que voy a hablar de algunas estrategias especificas, las que mencione mas arriba, son alineaciones que he probado y que han funcionado de una forma excelente, aqui van:
Full Velocidad + Esquive:
Antes que nada necesitas una batalla con mucho maná (con maná bajo funciona bastante bien con Quix the Devious), si es solo Melee funciona incluso mejor pero tambien sirve para los demas tipos de ataque, lo primero es alinear a Byzantine Kitty como Summoner y combinarlo con Vida o con Agua que es donde para mi funciona mejor. En solo Melee Uriel the Purifier es un tanque espectacular para esta estrategia, porque tiene Fly y 2 puntos extra de Velocidad de Kitty, se cura a si mismo y Kitty lo cura tambien y aparte no puede fallar sus ataques por el True Stike de la Byzantine... creo que el resto ya se entiende, va a esquivar mucho, va a hacer un daño terriblemente fuerte y va a aguantar muchos ataques porque tiene mucho escudo, mucha vida y curacion doble. con Agua pasa algo parecido con el Phanton of Abyss que tiene Fly, Dodge y ademas una velocidad altisima. Pelacor Conjurer tambien funciona muy bien aqui y ademas podemos darle mas potencia agregando a Diamond Dragon que ralentiza al enemigo y a Supply Runner o Adelade Brightwing que te otorgan mas velocidad y ademas esta ultima le va a reparar la armadura a Uriel haciendolo practicamente invencible. Si es con agua lo puedes llevar al nivel extremo agregando a Giant Squid con su habilidad Blind.
Osea, con Agua hablamos de un Phantom of Abyss a nivel 2 que tendrá Flying + Dodge + Demoralize + Blind con 8 puntos de velocidad (65% de probabilidad de esquivar + la diferencia de velocidad). Literalmente las cartas de velocidad 1, 2, 3 y 4 puntos no te van a golpear y a los de 5 y 6 les costará mucho hacerlo y si lo hacen, tienes Curacion de parte de Kitty.
Y si es con vida, tendremos un Uriel a nivel 2 que tendrá Flying + Recharge + heal con 5 puntos de velocidad y 50% de probabilidad extra de esquivar, mas la curacion de Kitty con True Strike y Adelade detras reparando su armadura y si este cae, lo resucita con su habilidad.
How to act according to the ruleset?
Before talking about this area there is an important part to mention and that is that this deck has 2 big problems to me. The first is that its mana cost in general is very high and that makes it almost impossible to use in low mana battles at 100% power and the second is that almost 90% of its true power is in its legendary cards and you know what that means? that when these cards are banned the set becomes practically useless. That's why you should always see the Dragon set as a companion to another element, a kind of neutral card set with an exaggerated power.
I'm not going to talk this time about specific rulesets because I simply wouldn't finish today, we are talking about that for each ruleset you can create strategies with six different elements next to it, I could make a different post for each one of them! and even then I think I would be missing details to add, that's the spectacular thing about Dragons in Splinterlands.
So I'm going to talk about some specific strategies, the ones I mentioned above, are alignments that I have tested and have worked in an excellent way, here they go:
Full Speed + Dodge:
First of all you need a battle with a lot of mana cap, like 40 or even more, better (with low mana works quite well with Quix the Devious), if it is only Melee ruleset battle works even better for me but also works for the other types of attack with other elements, the first thing is to align Byzantine Kitty as Summoner for make this at 100% efficiency and combine it with Life or Water which is where it works best for me. In solo Melee Uriel the Purifier is a spectacular tank for this strategy, because he has Fly and 2 extra points of Kitty's Speed, he heals himself and Kitty heals him too and besides he can't miss his attacks because of the Byzantine's True Stike.... I think the rest is already understood, it will dodge a lot, it will do a terribly strong damage and will withstand many attacks because it has a lot of shield, a lot of life and double healing. with Water something similar happens with the Phanton of Abyss that has Fly, Dodge and also a very high speed. Pelacor Conjurer also works very well here and we can give it more power by adding Diamond Dragon that slows down the enemy and Supply Runner or Adelade Brightwing that give you more speed and also the latter will repair Uriel's armor making him practically invincible. If it's with water you can take it to the extreme level by adding Giant Squid with its Blind ability.
So, with Water we are talking about a Phantom of Abyss at level 2 that will have Flying + Dodge + Demoralize + Blind with 8 points of speed (65% chance to dodge + the speed difference). Literally the cards of speed 1, 2, 3 and 4 points will not hit you and those of 5 and 6 will have a hard time doing it and if they do, you have Kitty's Healing.
And if it is with life, we will have a Uriel at level 2 that will have Flying + Recharge + heal with 5 points of speed and 50% extra chance to dodge, plus Kitty's healing with True Strike and Adelade behind repairing his armor and if he falls, she resurrects him with her ability.
Vuelo + Velocidad Invertida:
Esta estrategia funciona cuando aparece el ruleset de Reverse Speed, usaremos a Brighton Bloom como Summoner para otorgar la habilidad Fly a nuestras cartas (25% de chance de esquivar) y lo vamos a combinar con cartas lentas que en este caso seran las mas rapidas. Chaos Agent es brillante en esta estrategia porque tiene Dodge, el mismo Giant Squid funciona muy bien porque tiene poca velocidad y Blind y cartas como Desert Dragon o Gloridax Magus tambien son muy fuertes en esta estrategia y combina muy bien con otros elementos como Fuego usando a Grum Flameblade o Torhilo the Frozen en Agua que ademas tiene Void y lo hace perfecto para enfrentarse a cualquier tipo de ataque porque esquivará mucho el Melee y el Ranged y recibirá menos daño del ataque magico, que seria el mismo caso con el Bone Golem de muerte, en fin, todas las cartas lentas funcionan muy bien pero creo que esa combinacion de Bloom + Torhilo + Giant Squid es la que mejor funciona porque cubre todo tipo de contingencia.
Fly + Reverse Speed:
This strategy will works only when the Reverse Speed ruleset appears in your battles, we will use Brighton Bloom as Summoner to give the Fly ability to our cards (25% chance to dodge the Melee and Ranged enemies attacks) and we will combine it with slow cards that in this case will be the fastest ones. Chaos Agent is brilliant in this strategy because it has Dodge, the same Giant Squid works very well because it has little speed and Blind and cards like Desert Dragon or Gloridax Magus are also very strong in this strategy and combines very well with other elements like Fire using Grum Flameblade or Torhilo the Frozen in Water that also has Void and makes it perfect to face any type of attack because it will dodge a lot the Melee and Ranged and receive less damage from the magic attack, I would be the same case with the Bone Golem of Death, in short, all the slow cards work very well but I think that the combination of Bloom + Torhilo + Giant Squid is the one that works best because it covers all kinds of contingencies.
La relación Precio/CP.
Como mencione arriba, este set otorga apenas 40k de CP que es poco mas del 50% necesario para Plata I que es a donde deberiamos apuntar con este mazo, claro que esto se puede remediar agregando a la lista algunas cartas doradas pero debes ser inteligente con estas inversiones, por darte un ejemplo, una Naga Assasin dorada a nivel 4 (2000 CP) te costará alrededor de 10$ que serian aproximadamente 90 BCX regulares de esa misma carta, osea:
- 3 de nivel 4 (1500 CP total)
- 1 de nivel 3 (280 CP total)
Te quedas con una de las de nivel 4 para tu mazo y rentas las demas para ir ganando DEC por rentas, pero estos son solo ejemplos, no consejos de inversion, haz tus propias investigaciones.
Ademas de eso, ten en cuenta lo que he dicho ya varias veces, este elemento no funciona solo si no como acompañante asi que al combinarlo con otros mazos (yo aconsejo Vida o Agua) te va a sobrar CP para Plata I, incluso podras irte a Oro y ser competitivo con estos mazos, no temas usarlos.
The Price/CP ratio.
As I mentioned above, this entire set gives you only around of 40k CP which is little more than 50% needed for being on Silver I which is where we should aim with this deck, of course this can be remedied by adding to the list some golden cards but you must be smart with these investments, to give you an example, a golden Naga Assasin at level 4 (2000 CP) will cost you around 10$ which would be approximately 90 BCX regular of that same card, ie:
- 3 of level 4 (1500 CP total)
- 1 of level 3 (280 CP total)
Almost the same CP and then you can keep one of the level 4 cards for your deck and rent the others to earn DEC for rentals, but these are just examples, not investment tips, do your own research.
Besides that, keep in mind what I have said several times, this element does not work alone but as a companion so when you combine it with other decks (I advise Life or Water) you will have CP left over for Silver I, you can even go to Gold and be competitive with these decks, do not be afraid to use them.
Conclusiones.
Mi opinion personal es que ir por este mazo es un gran acierto de cara a la competitividad, es muy caro de obtener pero lo vale, porque te otorga muchisimas posibilidades de juego en tus partidas, ademas el hecho de que sea un acompañante significa que puedes ir adquiriendolo y armandolo poco a poco mientras te enfocas en otro mazo que elijas asi que si todavia no juegas con Dragones quizas es momento de que empieces.
Recuerdo con mucha gracia que cuando comence a jugar no los utilizaba porque los veia inutiles, claro que no sabia casi nada del juego y el tiempo me fue contradiciendo por completo, este es el elemento mas fuerte de todo el juego y hay que aprovechar eso para volverse uno de los mejores.

Conclusions.
My personal opinion off all this theme is that going for this deck is a great success in terms of competitiveness, it is very expensive to obtain but worth it, because it gives you many possibilities of play in your games, plus the fact that it is a companion means that you can go acquiring and building it little by little while you focus on another deck you choose so if you still do not play with Dragons maybe it's time to start trying them.
I remember very funny that when I started playing I didn't use them because I saw them as useless, of course I knew almost nothing about the game and time was contradicting me completely, this is the strongest element of the whole game and you have to take advantage of that to become one of the best.
