Good day guys! It's time for another Weekly Battle Challenge and the monster who takes the spot is no other than MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN.
The Lore
Mycelic Slipspawn was first found on the edges of the swamps of Praetoria, in areas where the fetid waters meet with the forests and jungles. It is highly toxic and grows to a substantial size. Death is uncommon for those who touch its fibrous body however, the side effects of its toxins can cause a long list of illnesses and disease, leaving its victims severely debilitated.
When the chaos portal opened and the creeping plague infected the land, the Slipspawn struggled to endure, being completely intolerant to the deadly pandemic. But then Queen Mycelia came, she touched the Slipspawn as she passed it by and it drank from her power, an enduring energy that ran deep and defiantly cast the pestilence of the chaos taint aside. The Slipspawn pulled its roots free from the ground and eagerly danced across the leafy forest floor after her, desperate to follow its saviour and stand by her in the times to come.
Let's talk about Mycelic Slipspawn.
It is a 9 mana cap rare monster of Earth Element with 2 magic damage, 2 attack speed and 10 health with TAUNT ability at level 1, FORCEFIELD at level 4 and SLOW at level 8.
The Battle
Line Up
Level 3 Obsidian summoner can summon Level 4 Common card, Level 3 Rare Card, Level 2 Epic card and Level 2 Legendary card. In this battle the only available element was Earth only, then I observed that the last 3 matches of my opponent he uses Mylor and since the combat rule is Armored Up I choose the Obsidian as my summoner to avoid the thorn of Mylor and the best summoner and monster to use in this battle is magic because we all know that magic damage ignores the armor and directly damage the health of the monster except to those monster who have Void Armour ability.
Our protagonist itself Level 2 MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN the most commonly used tank in Earth Element.
Level 4 Goblin Psychic one of the best damage dealer and support because of his 2 magic damage, tank heal ability and Affliction (When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.) Ability.
Level 2 Queen Mycelia another useful support because of her Protect and Amplify Ability.
Level 1 Khmer Princess - 2 mana cap magic damage dealer with 1 magic attack, 1 speed and 2 health.
The Battle Begins
As expected my enemy use Mylor. Good thing I used Obsidian.
Round 1
Starts with buff and debuff of the summoners and monsters. Unicorn Mustang attack 1st followed by Mycelic Slipspawn , Uraeus, Queen Mycelia and then Goblin Psychic and apply AFFLICTION in Mustang Unicorn therefore the Tank Heal of my enemies Goblin Psychic and Wood Nymph are now useless they can't heal Mustang Unicorn anymore.
Round 2
Mustang Unicorn got 4 health left while my tank got 8 health. Mustang Unicorn got killed by Khmer Princess, Enemies Goblin Psychic take the tank position but only just a moment because my Goblin Psychic killed it.
Round 3
Enemies Wood Nymph take the tank position, Mycelic Slipspawn attack 1st and killed the Wood Nymph, followed by Uraeus and inflict 1 damage in Mycelic Slipspawn. Queen Mycelia kill Uraeus and Khmer Princess killed the last monster of the enemy.
Did my strategy work?
Yes! Of course. As long as you observed and study the strategy of the enemy there's a high chance that you will win.
Do I like Mycelic Slipspawn?
Yes. It's very useful.
What should I try next time?
I will upgrade my Mycelic Slipspawn into Level 4 so I can unlock and test the FORCEFIELD Ability.
And that's all for this week's share your battle challenge. I hope you enjoy reading this and I hope you get some ideas. Thanks you and Godbless Us all.❤️
