Hello Splinterfans!
This week we have the new Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge with the ruleset Stampede.
This ruleset is one of my favorites as I love to play melee attack and give my opponents a bit of an extra spanking when they get on the receiving end of some trample.
Some tactics to use for this ruleset are melee attack with the summoner Possibilus if you have a high enough mana allowed.
The alternative is to try and counter this attack with some monsters with plenty of shield, thorns and shatter.
In today's battle, I decide to use my favorite monster Jared Scar. I just love this card and it is my favorite in the game, so try to play him whenever possible. How do I get on?

ROUND 1 - Drybone Barbarian vs - Jared Scar
I have taken a risk here because Jared Scar is pretty awesome once he gets on the rampage, but he has a low health score. My first choice was actually Drybone Barbarian as my opponent has played. So this is going to be interesting.
Jared give Drybone a nice 5 damage and this sadly triggers retaliate and also his enrage ability that increase his speed and attack by 50% now he is damaged. This is enough to take out my Jared Scar. But luckily, Adelade Brightwing revives him with her resurrect ability.
ROUND 2 & 3
Round 2 starts badly for me with Jared falling again from a magic attack. The health is sadly too low. Iziar is next to fall though as my sneak attack has finished him off.
Marksrat is next to fall. The plans of my opponent to buff Drybone did not work out.
ROUND 4
It is a formality now as only Dax Paragon is left against my almost full team. I am not sure I understood the strategy of my opponent, but it did not go well.
Summary:
This week I couldn't utilise the full effects of the stampede ruleset as I overwhelmed my opponent, but playing plenty of strong melee attack is good for this ruleset and it is a good one for Possibilus the Wise and the Diemonshark, Costal Sentry plus Kulu Mastermind (if you have him) combo.
How do you play the Stampede ruleset?
Thanks for reading.
