Hello Splinterfans!
An amazing season has just come to an end and I think the rewards just seem to be getting better and better and it sure is good fun in the gold league.
Combined with my brawls, we have been doing great in our guild too and earning more merits and SPS. This is helpful to build my glad cards up.
This season I haven't been buying any new cards really, but have upgraded a couple of cards by a level or 2 when I could. With lower DEC income, this is not as much as I would have usually. I do have a few cards on my radar such as Grandmaster Rathe and Spirit Hoarder. I hope to buy them soon.
My season match report is similar to last season except my rating for wild is much lower than that of modern. This is because I have focused more on modern than wild due to the games being too tough in wild!
My End of Season chests were pretty good. I got a CL pack plus a shakey-shakey with the brilliant Iziar. I got 2 copies of him too and now have him at level 3 😀.
The full season rewards were almost as good as last time with 6 CL packs and 2 legendaries, although they were not gold foil like last time. I am so far missing the powerful Drybone Raider that looks pretty awesome. Hopefully I might get him soon.
Macguiver my alt account has been performing very well too. He has only level 1 cards but is good fun to play. I didn't get him any new cards this season, but I am always on the look out for level 1 cards that he doesn't have.
Macguiver got the same number of chests as last season and a little less SPS. The cherry on top for him was to get the amazing legendary Drybone Raider who is such a great card.
The overall season rewards were less chests than last time, but the cards and SPS haul was a little better. Although this time there was no CL pack to win.
My rental income dropped in half again, this is also because I have been selling many of my rental cards where possible.
I still have quite a few cards to sell but there is no rush to sell them really.
There is lots going on in Splinterlands with land, new dual Splinter card Zyriel being released and the new proposals being brought up quite often. Althought the crypto market has been dropping, SPS included, today as I did at the start of last season, I bought some SPS and staked it.
Last time I bought 25k SPS, but this time I bought just short of 30k SPS and staked it bringing my total SPS to 73659. I am getting closer to my goal of 100k SPS staked!
Finally, I didn't include this before but my SPS earnings for this season look pretty good. I would hope that my staking rewards will now increase with my larger staked SPS.
I will check how that compares to the next season going forward.
