Moving On Up

I had a nice little breakthrough today! I finally made it to Bronze 1.

The first day I played Splinterlands, I think I lost every battle. The second day, I went on a winning streak and jumped from Novice to Bronze 3. I thought I was a Splinterlands master and would soon be in the Universal Super Great League in about three days.

But I stagnated. For weeks. I kept fighting, I'd win some, get to Bronze II, lose some, get knocked clear back to Novice, and on and on. I was starting to get depressed.

Education helped. I watched a few videos made by Hive account@achim03 and Hive account@clove71. I read some posts made by Hive account@rosiew. If you are new to Splinterlands, you should really follow those three. They drop a lot of SPS gaining wisdom on here and 3Speak.

But the thing that probably helped most was I invested some clams and bought some level 2 cards. That really helps bring in the wins in the Bronze League.

Now I just need to learn about the whole guild thing. What's up with guilds? Is that something a bronze leaguer shouldn't even worry about? Is it a Silver League thing?
