Today I can share a battle with a monster that I personally rarely use: the Djinn Apprentice. When I play fire, it is most of the time a melee focused game, so magic often does not matter. Let's see how it works with the Djinn.
The Ruleset
Mid mana with Super Sneak and only Fire, Death and Dragon allowed. Assuming my enemy will play some sneak play, I choose the Dragon splinter to put my Naga with 5 speed in the back. Let's see if this worked!
The Lineup
| Card | Ability | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| In an enrage ruleset, melee is very strong and Tarsa the choice no. 1 | ||
| Bloodlust + Void Armor | A very strong tank in an enrage ruleset. | |
| Reach | Some more damage from a secondary tank. | |
| Giant Killer | A nice damage dealer with 3 magic attack! | |
| Some more magic damage to kill the front line immediately. | ||
| Sneak | ||
| Close Range | Another heavy attacker! |
The Battle
Round 1
My opponent went for magic team. As the ruleset prefers melee due to the enrage, this was an interesting choice. Let's go!
Round 2
In round 1, I was able to kill the taunt monster and his tank with and my Grum gets some bloodlust. Things will be very difficuelt for the enemy now.
Round 3
Well, my Grum is gone, but there is too much damage left on the board. Interstingly my pictures shows which monster is enrage - nearly half of the team! Maybe this is a hint how powerful my team is?
Round 4 - 6
Nothing left on the enemy team, time to finish them off!
The Rewards
Conclusion
I think the mix of melee (to get the most out of enrage) and the magic attack was a good choice here to kill them quickly! This makes the new RW summoner for Fire more interesting for me, as he gives Enrage to all monsters, so this set-up can be played more often!
