Ruleset

Lost Magic, can't use monster with magic attack.
Briar Patch, all monsters has Thorns ability.- Thorns ability: when hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker and has an upper cap of 2.
Silenced Summoners: summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
Mana cap.
Can use element Earth and Life.

My Lineup and strategy
According to the mana and element we can choose I think it better to choose the Life element because Earth element monsters are usually strong in magic but with the ruleset Lost Magic we can't use magic. Another reason Life Element has several low mana monsters who have good defense ability and attack. I talk about it more in the Monsters lineup discussion :
| Summoner or monster | Abilities | Description |
|---|---|---|
| General Sloan, Summoner. Can increase all friendly range monster damage by 1 | In the Silenced Summoner the buff from summoners is disabled. We used General Sloan Life summoner because we only have this summoner in the Life element, if have another summoner with 3 mana cost better to use that, for example: ![]() | |
| Pelacor Conjurer, 1st position, Tanker. Has the ability Flying, Magic Reflect, Divine Shield, and Phase. | In this ruleset, The ability Magic Reflect and Phase is useless. The Flying will increase the chance to evade the enemy attack by 25%. Has the ability Divine Shield first time it is hit by the enemy monster the damage will be ignored. We put it in the first position because has high speed and got Divine Shield, a very good tanker monster. For 2 mana cost with 8 HP is great too bad this monster can't attack. | |
![]() | Stitch Leech, 2nd position, attacker. Has the ability Sneak, and Life Leech. | This melee monster can attack from any position because has a Sneak ability, this monster will attack the opponent in the last position. With Life Leech's ability every time this monster attacks and decreases the enemy's HP, the HP will increase according to the damage dealt. I hope the HP increase from Life Leech can make this monster live long enough when receiving the effect of Throns. Has high damage of 4. |
![]() | Venari Crystalsmith, 3rd position, attacker and support. Has the ability Tank Heal, and Dispel. | This is our Healer, it can heal monsters in the first position. Dispel ability will delete all positive buff from the enemy in the first position. Put in this position to make sure this monster does not die earlier. |
| Soul Fiend, 4th position, Tanker and Support. Has ability Swiftness. | This monster can increase the speed of all friendly monsters, and the reason I used this is because of the zero mana cost, we already used up all of the mana we can use so can add 1 more extra monster will be very helpful in this battle. I think this monster buff +1 extra speed is useful in this battle so I put this monster in this position, at least safer than in the last position. | |
![]() | Chaos Agent, 5th Position, Tanker, Has Ability Dodge, Phase, and Backfire | Placed in the last position because it has the Dodge ability it increases the chance of avoiding enemy attacks by 25%, ability Backfire makes every attack that is successfully avoided by this monster reflect back to the enemy and deals 2 damage, Phase ability useless in the Lost Magic ruleset. I hope with good speed and ability can evade several enemy attack before dies. |

The Battle

- Round 1:
As usual, the battle starts with buff and debuff from both sides. The enemy uses a front attack strategy while we only defend in the front and attack behind.- The enemy Furious Chicken die in this round attacked by our Stitch Leech.

Round 2 :
- The enemy Armorsmith dies killed by our Stitch Leech.
The enemy has difficulty hitting our tanker Pelacor Conjurer.

- Round 3:
No monster dies in this round, our Stitch Leech keeps decreasing the HP because hit by the Throns effect, but the ability Leech restores 2 HP each time this monster hit the enemy HP.

Round 4:
- The enemy Peacebringer dies killed by our Stitch Leech.
The enemy is only left with one monster Silvershield Paladin.

- Round 5-6:
Attack by our Venari Crystalsmith and Stitch Leech finally the enemy Silvershield Paladin dies hit by our Stitch Leech in round 6. With the death of Silvershield Paladin the victory becomes ours.

Did your Strategy Work?
The strategy works perfectly, the strategy to surprise the enemy with a sneak monster is a success, the enemy only focuses on attacking and strengthening the monsters in the first position and ignores the defense behind. Our Stitch Leech keeps restoring the HP every time it attack, those make the effect of Thorns can't kill it. Our Tanker Pelacor Conjurer does the job perfectly the enemy attack almost can't hit this monster.
