Rumour Has It...
I wasn’t planning on doing another "Rumour Land" post today but after "Clayboyn" dropped the news that there planning on implementing a mini game series within Splinterlands whilst using current NFTs...
I had no choice but to run with it...
So currently you can logon to https://feedback.splinterlands.com/ and submit your idea on a play to earn mini game series within Splinterlands, They want it to have the following points:
- Simple Arcade Game
- Can Make Use Of The Current NFTs
- Possibly Fantasy Based
- Same Structure As Splinterlands Currently - 1 v 1
- Boast A High Score Mechanic
- Short 3-5 Minutes
- FUN!
When I saw this myself and @Dusk88 a fellow Splinterland player both thought it sounds as if they want to implement a style of "Rollercoin" if you don’t know what I mean by this then check it out https://rollercoin.com its also a free to play crypto based gaming site from which you earn multiple cryptos by playing old style mini arcade games...
If this is where the devs are going then this would flesh out the Splinterlands game massively giving more choice for the player and holding the attention of the players for longer... If the user could grind Splinterlands until there "Capture Rate" is low, move onto this NEW "Roller Coin" style mini series..grind that while there capture rate increases...the cycle would be never endless. Anyone who does know "RollerCoin" will know once you earn enough in game credits you can buy a mining rig in game...its not a far stretch to implement that into Splinterlands using the NFTs to do the mining for you...
I will finish on this...The future looks bright for this game in my opinion, I am very bullish and I think something like this push the SPS price back up..
