I will share my battle here, which I uploaded to 3speak.
Tell us about your lineup. Explain why you put each card in that position and why they are a good fit with the CENTAUR.
This is my lineup for the battle
| Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
|---|---|---|
| Summoner | Tarsa | +1 Melee, +1 Health |
| Position 1 | Elven Defender | Sheild |
| Position 2 | Tenyii Striker | Sneak |
| Position 3 | Creeping Ooze | Slow |
| Position 4 | Serpentine Spy | Opportunity |
| Position 5 | Ant Miners | Scavenger |
| Position 6 | Centaur | Snipe |
It was a 27 mana battle. And the rule was Standard, so I could try different things. I used the fire Summoner 'Tarsa' as she have +1 Melee and +1 Health. I used Elven Defender as my Tank. He has +3 Melee and with +1 from Tarsa, this made him a furious attacker as well. Next is Tenyii Striker with sneak ability and 2 Melee attack from his own my melee attack was powerful.
I used Creeping ooze to slow down the enemy monsters and to get that first hit from the Serpentine Spy which is one of my favorite card from the fire splinter deck.
Ant miners is a low mana cost monster with 1 health but its Scavanger ability is incredibly, so helpful in mid-high range mana battles. This card is so underrated in my opinion.
Centaur at the last to get some ranged damage. I generally place Centaur at the end.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Yes, it worked perfectly. If I get low mana battle, I would probably replace Elvin Defender with 4-5 mana cost tank.
Do you like the CENTAUR? Why or why not?
I liked the Centaur a lot before the Chaos Legion Update, it is a neutral splinter monster and can be used with any summoner, this is what I liked the most. I use earth splinter now.
