My Lineup and Strategy
This is my lineup for the battle
| Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
|---|---|---|
| Summoner | Drake of Arnak | +1 Shield |
| Position 1 | Cursed Windeku | thorns |
| Position 2 | Riftwing | Flying, Scavenger |
| Position 3 | Naga Assassin | No Ability |
| Position 4 | Dragonling Bowman | Sneak |
| Position 5 | Silent Sha-vi | Sneak |
This was a 25 mana cost battle, I used the Drake of Arnak as my summoner that gave a shield to all my monsters. And it was a standard game with no modifications to the ruleset.
I used the Cursed Windeku at the first position as my tank. Although it was a 6 mana cost monster but its high speed and thorns ability with a good HP made it a perfect tank for this battle.
Next came the Riftwing, it doesn't have any attacking ability but the scavenger ability makes it gain health each time a monster dies. It is also a high speed flying monster which helps it to dodge many attacks.
Naga Assassin came the next in the lineup, it is a high speed and low-cost dragon-type monster, I used it for its range attack.
I placed Dragonling Bowman at the fourth position. It has sneak ability, used to snipe the monsters at the back of the line. As its name suggests it was a dragon type monster.
Silent Sha-vi came at the last position. This card also had the sneak ability that helped the Dragonling Bowman to eliminate the monsters at the back. It also has a decent speed of 3 and 2 melee attacks. Making it a powerful attacking monster in the lineup.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy with Dragonling Bowman and Naga Assassin worked well, at one point the battle looked tough but eventually I won. It was a close battle. I would try to add some magic dealing monsters in the lineup.
Do you like Dragons? Why or why not?
I don't have enough experience with Dragon type monsters but it was a fun challenge trying out different strategies with them. I am still learning to play with dragons. So, I don't know if I like them so much.
