First off.. Hello! I am QueenOwl and I am finally getting to writing my first post! Woohoo!
At the end of December 2021, My husband, (themofobunny as many know him by) and I received news that my water broke at 27 weeks with our rainbow son. He had already started playing Splinterlands and honestly, I thought it was all bogus. Fast forward to February 2022 I delivered our son at 32 weeks and expenses were rough especially being in the hospital for 2 months prior and had 2 more months in the NICU still. End of Feb 2022/ beginning March 2022 I decided to join Splinterlands!
It distracted me from all the stress of NICU and of course was able to enjoy my time with my husband about the game! I have scored some amazing things from giveaways including 2 fiends and a lvl 4 mylor!(Who doesn't love scoring some good loot!)
I have put roughly $15-$20 into my account and now my deck/SPS is worth over $500! Of course I am no pro but I have came far from where I began!
Game has helped me financially as well as brought me many opportunities as in at one point I was a Scholar for NFty Arcade, I have received new followers through streaming, and has brought me a ton of new friends that have helped me along the way!
