Hello everyone, today I share a battle from the game Splinterlands with the new card from the Chaos Legion Edition, a card that is part of the Airdrop of purchased Packs, the dangerous Lira The Dark.
The cover design of the post was created by me through image montages, which is related to the game card in question.
SKILLS LIRA THE DARK
As you can see from the image, Lira The Dark is a Legendary Splinter Death card.
It is a card with excellent speed and Ranged attack, at the starting level it starts with Opportunity (attacks the least healthy monster) and Snare (when it attacks monsters with Flying ability, it removes this ability and does not miss the target).
At level 3 he acquires a new skill, Swiftness (which increases the speed of all allied monsters) which makes a card very strong individually and for the team, with good attack power and good speed, it is possible to destroy important cards from the team of adversary.
MY BATTLE
RULESET
Mana : 30
Rules : Close Range (Ranged attack cards can attack from the first position in battle)
Splinters available : Life and Death
For this battle as we only had two splinters available and given the set of rules, I understood that the opponent would bet on Ranged cards, and before that I chose with Summoner Contessa L'ament to remove (1 Ranged attack) to all monsters in the Ranged attack type.
And following this strategy I chose for the front line HARKLAW with Shield ability to neutralize Ranged attacks, if with Summoner it removed 1 attack, and with Shield it had reduced attack, there was a high probability that the Ranged monsters would cause little or no damage to my monster, this Of course, if the opponent chose Ranged monsters so my strategy could work.
Then I chose two Magic attack cards with Life Leech ability (increases health whenever it hits an opponent) - VENARI BONESMITH and LIFE SAPPER, to try to protect myself from Snipe attacks, and have monsters that attack the first line of battle, because otherwise then I chose SILENT SHA-VI with Sneak ability, to hit the opponent's last monster on the battlefield and reduce the opponent's team, and finally the fearsome LIRA THE DARK with Opportunity ability to reduce the opponent's secondary monsters, and in the last position to protect SILENT SHA-VI from Sneak attacks due to its high speed and health points, it gave great balance to my team composition on the battlefield.
My opponent chose the Life splinter but with the Mother Khala Summoner (+1 health to all monsters) and only one Ranged attack card, PELACOR ARBALEST in which with my strategy I managed to make their attacks have no effect on my monsters .
LIRA managed to eliminate TRUTHSPEAKER in his first major attack, and thus removing the monsters' shield ability, allowing the next Sneak and Opportunity attacks to hit the health of the opponent's monsters.
The opponent's monsters attacked all of my front line with the exception of CELESTIAL HARPY with Opportunity skill, attacked my LIFE SAPPER monster but couldn't destroy it because it was always replenishing its health due to its Life Leech skill.
My monster HARKLAW managed to hold up well during the battle, allowing my Life Leech monsters to increase health points and when HARKLAW was destroyed the opponent only had one monster on the battlefield, TIME MAGE with Magic attack, but it became if insufficient for the strength of my team, which easily ended up winning the battle.
The card combination strategy for the battle worked and allowed the battle to look easy at the end result level, however it was the attack type combination that allowed the strategy to work, decreasing the power strength of the opponent's team.
