Remember last night I was talking about probably getting back my initial $16,50 back in about a month? Scratch that, about 20 minutes after posting last night I had a little taste of how great quest potions can be and how even for someone who intends on play investing as little as posible buying a couple of quest potions is gonna make your time investment so much better.
After only 1 daily quest I cant guarantee you that you are always gonna get your money back, I mean crypto could always suddenly crash and leave us with a lot of worthless data, but last night I not only got back my $0,75 (Even less than that given that you get an extra potion when buying 10) I got a lot more.
Out of my 6 chest last night I got a sum of around 430 DEC (so with today's pricing it would be something like $2.5, a lot more than the $0.75 the potion costs) and also 2 copies of the same card, a Sand Worm (retailing around $0.77 each). So all in all around $4 from daily quest chests alone, can't say I'm not happy.
On a gameplay perspective I've been getting more and more hooked, might be trying to get into a tournament one of this days, for now I'm happy steadily climbing the ladder a couple of points at a time with my almost non existent collection. At the same time I can already see the DEC earning potential that's hidden behind high ranking battles, from 0 to 100 ranking points I was getting less than 0.2 DEC per win, right now at around 750 ranking points I'm getting about 4 DEC per win.
I have been able to get to around 750 ranking with the basic set cards and will probably rent a couple of cards for the end of season so I can get better rewards. And maybe some day when I have a bigger collection I'll be able to rent out my cards and get another type of passive income.
All in all I'm $16,50 down but have gotten a collection worth around $5 at current prices ($3 worth of DEC and $2 from cards). I don't even know if someone is reading this but if you are and have any cool idea or any interesting metric you'd like me to track just tell me and I'll think about it.
