Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to yet another #Splinterlands post.
Alright so today, it was a bit rough. After reaching Diamond recently, I kinda thought I’ll keep climbing slowly like before. But nah, Diamond is DIFFERENT.
I logged in with some confidence today. Like okay, I’ve made it this far, let’s push a bit more. First match, loss. Second match, loss again. I was like… wait what is happening? Diamond is really tough. It’s not like Gold or Silver anymore where you can recover easily.
What I noticed quickly is that people in Diamond don’t just play strong cards, they play smart. Some lineups I faced were just perfect counters to mine. There was one match where I felt super confident about my setup. Everything looked good, strong tank, solid damage, nice balance. But I got completely countered.
After a few matches like that, I realized something. I need to change things up. Just using the same old strategies is not gonna work here. So yeah, I decided to invest a bit again. I purchased 2,000 credits.
Not gonna lie I hesitated a little before buying. But I felt like I needed better options. Diamond players have strong setups, and if I want to compete, I need to improve my lineup too. So after getting the credits I went straight to rentals. This time, I decided to focus on something different, Death element cards.
I rented some really good death cards. Took me some time to choose tho. prices were kinda annoying again and I didn’t want to waste credits on bad picks. But eventually I found some solid ones. And honestly, death element looks pretty fun.
It’s kinda different from what I usually play. More control, more strategy, less brute force.

Even though I didn’t rank up today, I don’t feel like it was a bad day. Yeah I lost matches. But I also learned a lot.
What I learned today:
Diamond players punish mistakes HARD
You can’t just rely on one strategy
Renting better cards actually helps
Death element is strong if used correctly
Patience is important
Also, I think I need more practice with reading opponents. Like predicting what they might play instead of just focusing on my own lineup. That’s probably the biggest difference at this level.
Anyway, that was my day. No rank up. Some losses. New cards. New strategy. And yeah, lots of learning. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
