Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today I wanted to do another card spotlight post and this time the spotlight goes to Janni Oracle. Honestly, this card surprised me alot after I started using it more in ranked battles. At first I thought it was just another support magic card, but after reaching higher leagues I realized how annoying and useful this unit actually is π
Janni Oracle is a Rare Life Unit and at max level (Level 8) it gets access to 4 different abilities which makes it super flexible in many rulesets and team comps.
The design of this card also looks really cool. The golden light theme and magic energy around the character fits perfectly with the Life element.

At level 8, Janni Oracle has:
3 Magic Damage
3 Speed
6 Health
3 Armor
Those stats are actually pretty balanced. Not too tanky, but also not weak. The speed is decent and the magic damage can become very annoying for enemy backline units.

Snipe: Magic and ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position.
This is probably the reason most players use Janni Oracle.
Instead of attacking the front tank, it attacks support units hiding in the backline. This becomes very powerful against enemy healers, ranged attackers, or magic units.
I personally love using Snipe units because many players focus only on protecting their front tank while forgetting about the backline.
Sometimes Janni Oracle completely destroys enemy strategy by eliminating support cards early.
Especially in lower mana battles this ability feels super strong.

Dodge: +25% chance to evade physical attacks.
This ability makes the card alot more annoying to kill.
Since Janni Oracle already has decent speed, adding Dodge on top of that means melee and ranged attackers can miss pretty often.
And we all know how painful missed attacks are in #Splinterlands.
I had battles where enemy units kept missing over and over while Janni Oracle stayed alive longer than expected.
This ability becomes even stronger in rulesets with speed modifiers.

Strengthen: +1 max health to all allied units.
Now this is where the support value becomes crazy.
Giving every allied monster +1 health may not sound huge at first, but in close battles it changes everything.
That extra health can allow your units to survive one more hit, one more blast damage, or one more poison tick.
In many clutch battles, tiny stat boosts like this are the reason you win.
I honestly think Strengthen is one of the most underrated support abilities in the game.

Rebirth: Self-resurrects once per battle with 1 health and 100% armor. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied.
This ability makes Janni Oracle even more frustrating for opponents.
Imagine finally killing the card and then boom⦠it comes back again.
Even though it respawns with only 1 health, the full armor restoration can still make it survive longer if enemy attacks are weak or spread out.
I had moments where Rebirth allowed Janni Oracle to survive just enough to finish one last attack and secure victory.
Sometimes that single extra turn is all you need.

Overall, I think Janni Oracle is one of those cards that becomes better the higher league you go.
It is not just about raw damage. The value comes from utility, pressure, survivability, and annoying the enemy team.
The combination of:
Snipe
Dodge
Strengthen
Rebirth
makes this card super versatile.
It can attack backline units, buff your team, dodge attacks, and even revive itself.
That is honestly alot for a Rare card.
I will definitely keep using this unit more in my Life teams because it performs really well in many situations.
Anyway thats it for todayβs #splinterlands grind. More battles tomorrow and hopefully more crazy moments too. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
