Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today was honestly one of the most insane battles I played in a while on #Splinterlands. At first I thought the match was completely over and there was no chance for me to win. My opponent had too many units left alive and my whole team was basically wiped out. But somehow one of my water units turned into an absolute monster and clutched a 1v4 situation because of the Resurgence ability.
The battle only lasted 4 rounds but it felt super intense. Every round changed the battle completely. I was actually already preparing mentally for the loss lol.
The ruleset for this battle was Global Warming, and honestly this ruleset helped my comeback alot.
Global Warming: All units have the Burning status effect applied at the start of combat (At the beginning of round 2, burning has a 33% chance to spread to adjacent units. All Burning units lose 2 health).
This made the battle really dangerous because everybody was slowly dying even if they survived attacks. Health management became super important.

I decided to go with Water element because I wanted units with decent speed and survivability. Normally in Global Warming battles, fast units and units that can survive over time become really important.
At first I thought my lineup was pretty decent. But after round 1, my opponent started destroying my team very quickly. Their damage output was actually crazy.
My opponent had multiple strong units alive while my side was falling apart one by one.

By round 4 things were already looking horrible for me. Burning damage from Global Warming was stacking on everybody and my frontline disappeared pretty fast.
What made things worse was that my opponent still had FOUR units alive while I only had one important unit left.
At that moment I seriously thought:
“Yep… its over.”
But then the magic happened.
The MVP unit activated Resurgence.
This ability is honestly one of the coolest abilities in the game.
Resurgence: Self-resurrects once per battle with 100% health and armor. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Skips turn. Deals 1 physical damage to all units.
The timing was literally perfect.
Because of Global Warming, enemy units were already weak from burning damage. When my unit resurrected and damaged every unit on the field, suddenly the enemy team became extremely low health.
Then burning damage kicked in again.
That combo was sooo clutch.
One by one the enemy units started dropping.
Some died from attacks.
Some died from Burning effect.
Meanwhile my unit somehow survived all of it.
I still dont know how this battle became a win lol.
The final moments were crazy because the battlefield was almost empty and everybody was low HP.
Then BOOM.
Victory screen appeared.

Even after playing alot of battles in #Splinterlands, matches like this still surprise me. I was already accepting defeat but somehow the comeback happened in the most ridiculous way possible.
Honestly these are the battles that make Splinterlands really fun for me. Crazy moments, weird comebacks, and abilities interacting with rulesets in unexpected ways.
This was definitely one of my favorite battles from recent days.
Anyway thats it for today’s #splinterlands grind. More battles tomorrow and hopefully more crazy moments too. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
