Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today was one of those weird #Splinterlands days where I did not even touch ranked battles lol. Usually I atleast try to grind few matches everyday, but today I mostly focused on preparing for the season and doing guild stuff instead. Sometimes its actually nice to take a small break from stressful ranked games, specially in Diamond where every single loss feels painful.
The first thing I did today was purchase around 3,000 Credits because I wanted to rent some better cards for this season. My collection is decent now but there are still many cards that are super useful in higher leagues and renting them makes life much easier. Prices were not too bad today luckily.
I ended up renting around 15 cards in total. Some were tanks, some support cards and few annoying cards which I hate playing against myself. But honestly, rentals are one of the best things in #Splinterlands. Without renting, climbing higher leagues becomes much harder unless you own a massive collection.
After getting the credits, I spent quite a while searching market rentals.
I tried to focus mostly on cards which are flexible in many rulesets because I dont want to waste credits on cards I only use once. I rented few strong frontline monsters, some ranged attackers and also few annoying magic cards because magic teams are still very strong.
One thing I noticed is that rental prices are slowly becoming higher again. Maybe because many players are trying to push ranks near season progression. Diamond league especially feels very competitive right now.
Even though I did not play ranked today, I still spent good amount of time checking my deck combinations and testing ideas mentally. Sometimes planning lineups is actually fun. You look at a card and suddenly realize βwait this combo could actually destroy peopleβ.
I also played some Guild Brawls today. Honestly brawls feel different compared to ranked. There is more pressure because you dont wanna disappoint guild members. When your guild is active, everybody wants to contribute properly.
Our guild has been doing pretty good recently and I really like the competitive atmosphere there. Even when I lose, it still feels nice because everyone shares strategies and discusses battles together. Thats something I enjoy alot in #Splinterlands community.
The brawl battles today were decent but nothing super crazy happened. I had few smooth wins and one really annoying match where RNG completely betrayed me. My attack missed at the worst possible moment and the enemy snowballed from there.
Classic #Splinterlands experience honestly.
One thing Iβve learned after reaching Diamond leagues is that preparation matters alot more than people think. Many players just spam battles without changing strategy. But higher leagues punish that hard.
Renting correct cards can literally decide your whole season.
For example, sometimes one rented legendary card can win multiple battles alone because opponents are not prepared for it. Thats why I dont mind spending credits carefully if it helps me stay competitive.
I also checked market prices for few cards I maybe wanna buy permanently in future. Some cards are becoming really expensive though. Especially useful meta cards. Makes me wish I started collecting earlier.
Still, renting is carrying me for now.

For now my main goal is still staying competitive in Diamond and maybe eventually pushing even higher if possible. But I know that requires stronger cards and smarter decisions. Renting these 15 cards is hopefully gonna help me alot this season.
Iβm also trying to improve my lineup reading skills because predicting enemy teams becomes super important in higher leagues. Sometimes the battle is decided before Round 1 even starts.
Overall, today was not the most action packed #Splinterlands session, but it still felt productive. I upgraded my seasonal setup, participated in guild activities, and prepared myself for upcoming ranked grind.
Tomorrow Iβll probably jump back into ranked matches again and test these rented cards properly. Hopefully they help me win more battles instead of draining my credits for nothing.
Lets see how this season goes.
Anyway thats it for todayβs #splinterlands grind. More battles tomorrow and hopefully more crazy moments too. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
