Modern ranked season 95 has just ended, and compared to the season prior to it, I think last season was quite easier, since I was able to finish the season at Champion II, even though I did not play as many games during it, since I had quite a busy schedule, watching concerts earlier this month. If not for that, I think that not only will I play a lot more battles, but I will likely be able to reach Champion I, too. But since I did not, both my Glint and SPS earnings have also dropped, and since I did not purchase the same amount of chest that I usually buy in the Glint shop, there was not that much progress in terms of my reward cards, but it was not that bad because I was able to max one of my common reward cards.
Modern Format Season 95 Splinterlands Report
For the eighth consecutive time, I once again made it on the Champion leaderboard, which is already shocking by itself, given how I only play casually for fun and with how many cards my deck is lacking in comparison to all the powerful decks in the Champion league, particularly this season, when I played fewer than 400 battles. Maybe this is due to the fact that a new Archon has just become playable, and many players are still just experimenting with how to use it. I also don't know if it is intentional, but most of the battles that I have encountered recently include the Outsider ruleset, so it might also affect how other players play their decks during battles.
| Statistic | Modern Ranked Champion |
|---|---|
| Leaderboard Rank | 73- Champion II |
| Rating | 4,200 |
| Total Battles | 362 |
| Total Wins | 195 |
| Win Rate | 53.87% |
| Longest Streak | 7 |
| Leaderboard Reward |
For modern ranked season 95, I was able to stay in the top 75 of the Champion leaderboard, placing in the 73rd spot, giving me an additional 100k Glint. Overall, I played a total of 362 battles, by which I won 195 of them, giving me a 53.11% win rate. As you can see, there are way fewer battles compared to the previous seasons, so I think that if I could just play those battles, I may have reached Champion I, though holding it is a separate thing.
| Staking Rewards | 31.257 SPS |
|---|---|
| Ranked Rewards | 3,012.644 SPS - Modern |
| Brawl Rewards | 9.777 SPS |
| Tournament Prize | 622.614 SPS |
| Total | 3,676.292 SPS |
Looking at my previous season report, the total SPS that I won last season was on the lower end than the SPS I got in the season prior to it, by about 2k SPS. Not only did I not play in any ranked battles, but there were also some tournaments that I missed playing, and I was almost non-participant during brawls.
And with that, I only earned a total of 3,676.292 SPS or about 15.164 $ combined at its current price.
| MERITS Brawl prizes | |
|---|---|
| MERITS Draw Reward | |
| VOUCHER | 4.482 |
| Fortune Entry |
And with me not participating in brawls, I only earned a total of 1,450 Merits this season for a total of 18,706 Merits if we include the Merits I got from Chests. My fortune entries this season were also lower since I have not spent all my Glint on Chests, so I do not really expect to win any premium cards, and that's quite dumb of me since I still pay for the Fortune pass.
| Glint Ranked | |
|---|---|
| Glint Season | |
| Suvival | |
| Reward | |
| Total Glint Earned |
When it comes to my Glint earnings, I only earned 470k Glint last season, but since I have not spent much Glint during that time, I can go hog wild in my shopping spree in the Glint shop this season.
| SPS Rental | |
|---|---|
| Card Rental | |
| Tournament Fees | |
| Fortune Pass | |
| Total Cost |
| Glint Purchase |
As for my rental cost, my total expenses this season were 38,202.585 DEC or about $ 16.34$. It was a lot higher compared to the prior season, mainly due to the changes in the SPS rental market. Deducting that from my SPS earnings, I got -1.176$. It's the first time that I got into the negative when it comes to playing the game. Hopefully, I can recoup my loss this season.
CA Reward and Extra Set Progress
Once again, using the site splinterhub.com, we now have an easier way to monitor the progress of our CA reward cards, though this does not include the Extra set, so that will be manually monitored. And for this season, I finally completed 75% of my common cards from the previous 73%, with all of my common cards at least level 8, and I even have my first max-level common card with Phlegmor. My rare collection, on the other hand, has just reach 57% completion, and my epic collection slightly increased to 24% with 4 of the cards at level 3. My Legendary collection remains the same at 9% completion.
As for my Extra collection, the biggest improvement is that I now have my Hrolfa at level 2, which increases its damage by 1, making it more useful.
Closing
And that was it for the last season's recap. For the first time, my earnings have gone into the negative due to multiple factors, but it is not as if the game is not profitable, since this does not include the cards and other tokens that I get in the game.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!
