Recently, it is only the very best and the creamy layer who go to the top levels of the Splinterlands games. I am not giving an excuse for me going down to silver. It is partly my fault because I rented my deck out, then decided to play again and waited for cooldown and ECR recharge and started late and as a result, I could only reach Diamond 3 and thus fell back to 1900 rating.
Season start and I started to play again and fell back to silver. It did help me realize that playing in lower leagues is another level of gaming because the cards do not have the abilities we are so used to and thus I made some miscalculations while playing and lost.
The next game onward I started to actually think and chose the right cards and it helped me win.
So, here goes. Do check out the game.
I am planning to sell some of my cards to invest in SPS and then reinvest the profits into a deck. Splinterlands gaming is really interesting and although people might think that it takes a lot of investment and so on and there are arguments to and for, at the end of the day if you are wise enough to manage your assets and investments, you can smile your way to the bank.
Speaking of banks, crypto is not welcome in India and after a talk with Mango yesterday, I really feel the pain with regard to pulling out some profit as fiat. The 30% tax for crypto is a blow to the people like us who earn in crypto and unless my local grocer accepts crypto, I have no other way than to use fiat. I sure hope future generations understand our struggles.
Back to playing in the silver league, I have enrolled in a silver tournament so that will also be a learning experience for me. I also hope to see the price of Hive rise a bit more so that it can help in more investments.
If you are not aware, Hive engine has a load of tokens based on Hive that you can invest in and help grow communities. You can also create your own token too. There are many ways to build and grow causes and communities. I remember we had an education community on the previous blockchain. Hope they reconsider starting one on Hive and also creating a token, perhaps.
