This is my second season focusing on Modern only format. Based on my performance it looks like competition at the Champion level is really getting tougher. Last season I ended with 4178 rating and this season I ended it with 4085 rating. The maximum rating reached during the season also was lower this season at 4100 compared to last season at 4188.

In terms of performance my win / loss ratio was also lower at 0.83 compared to last season's 0.94. I won 165 battles and lost 198 battles compared to winning 173 battles last season and loosing 184 battles. Overall I fought more battles this season at 363 battles compared to last season's 357 battles

Overall I got a lot more reward cards this season compared to last season, but I got a little less gold foil cards compared to last season. I got 327 regular foil cards this season compared to 232 cards last season and I got 15 gold foil cards this season compared to 17 gold foil cards last season. This season I got 11 rare gold foils and 4 common gold foils. Last season I got one legendary gold foil, two epic gold foils, two rare gold foils and 12 common gold foils. Overall I would say that last season I had better luck in gold foils. Those legendary gold foils are really nice.
When it comes to regular gold foils I got five legendary cards compared to six legendary cards last season. Last season I got ten epics compared to nine epics this season so my luck in legendary and epic regular foils was also worse. Most of my regular foil cards this season came from commons 255 and 58 rare this compares to 201 commons and 15 rares last season.
When we look at loot chests I got a total of 237 SPS from season and daily loot chests this season compared to 201 SPS last season, a slight improvement but nothing to write home about. Considering the upcoming change from power to staked SPS it would be nice to get one of those large pools in my Champion chests...
I got 8,295 merits in my loot chests this season compared to 13,356 merits last season also worse than last season. And I got five packs this season compared to six packs last season. The luck is definitely not on my side this season.
My SPS earned from ranked play stayed practically the same at 329 this season compared to 333 last season a difference of only four SPS tokes.

Rental revenue continued it's descent and stood at a net profit of only 350 DEC compared to 595 DEC last season.

When we look at my SPS earnings for the season we see that it went down slightly from 1975 SPS last season to 1885 SPS this season. Liquidity pool rewards continue to be my main source of SPS earnings though down slightly from 657 to 585 SPS this season. Another major category is Ranked rewards which is up slightly to 567 SPS from 535 SPS last season. And finally staking reward came in third with 363 SPS up from 354 SPS last season. License and brawl rewards were both down from last season.
This was a good season, but I am hoping for a better luck in my current season rewards chests. I will continue to accumulate SPS with a goal to reach at least 70% of required SPS for Champion 3 by the time the power to SPS staking change takes place.
