Introduction
Last week, I shared my thoughts on the townhall which happened on February 1st for the social media challenge. Today, I want to talk about the new airdrop coming from Rebellion Conflicts. It's a monster dragon element card named Rage.
Thoughts on Rage And Strategy
Rage is a unit with monstrous stats coming in at 16 mana for the dragon element. At max level it has 5 damage, flying, void, weapons training, leech and affliction. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the 5 damage due to forcefield. This card is going to be used in high mana battles and well Arkemis the Bear will most likely be the frontline and if this is the case this card will only do one damage. I don't think it will be used for the weapons training either since there aren't really any insane high mana cards with no attack but who knows that might be coming in the near future. It could be used in wild with Almo Cambino. I could definitely see that happening.
For the strategy for this card, I think it will be great in a back to basics 100 mana fight. It has great damage and great health for this. I could also see it being good in wands out as well. In addition to that, it could be good in an earthquake ruleset with 100 mana. Besides these three cases, I'm not really sure if there is a place for this card. Maybe there's a chance for it in keep your distance as well. It's hard to say so we will have to wait and see when this card is released and how it will impact the meta for certain rulesets.
How To Get Rage
At the moment, nobody has Rage. It will be released in 11 days when the conflict for it is over. You will be able to get Rage from conflicts or from packs after the conflict is over. Honestly, I'm thinking the play might be to sell the card initially. Once people start pulling the card from packs the price will most likely go down. I will have enough for 1 guaranteed by the end of the conflict. I'm hoping I get that 2% for Gold Foil so I can sell it and buy some GF chaos legion cards that I'm still missing.
Thank You
Thank you for reading and supporting me. What do you think about this new card coming from the airdrop? Is it OP or is it MEH?
