Hi all of my friends on Hive,
Recently, I have seen many promoted posts for hive-swap.com. This is the new swapping tool for all hive tokens. After the death of beeswap, getting a new swap platform is a good sign that HIVE still gets some attention.
I plan to swap some SPS to DEC, and this is a good time to test this new platform.
To perform the test, I will make 2 swaps, 1 on swap-hive and 1 on Tribaldex - my favorite platform after beeswap; then compare the results after that.
HIVE-SWAP
First of all, the UI of Swap-hive is similar to beeswap, which makes it easy for me to swap without any issues.
I will swap 435SPS to DEC. The estimation is that I get 4251DEC in return.

Here is the result
Firstly, ~1 SPS was sent to swap-hive as the platform fee service

Then 433SPS --> 28.87 SWAP.HIVE --> 49.219 GLUSD --> 4205DEC.

Swap-hive needs 3 transactions through 3 pools and it is the reason for high swap fees. In the end, I only received 4205 DEC, which is 46 DEC lower than the estimate, representing ~1.08% impact.
TRIBALDEX
I swapped the same 435SPS on Tribaldex
- Here is the estimation on Tribaldex. I expect to receive 4238DEC

- And here is the result, with 4234 DEC. Tribaldex uses only 1 pool, SPS:DEC, so it requires only 1 transaction instead of 3 like swap-hive does.

CONCLUSION
With this result, Tribaldex still performs better than swap-hive because of the lower fees. I will stay with Tribaldex for now :)
