Dear Splinterlands Community!
It's been a long time since I published changes to the main application. In the future, I want to put the focus back on the development.
In this article, I would like to present the latest updates to the site.
Feature: Card Rental Activities (EPIC)
Epic users (who hold at least 100 TRENDZ tokens) can access a new feature under Card Activities/Rental menu. This page shows the recent card activities in the Rental Market. The functionality is similar to the Card Sale Activities feature. The maximum date interval you can select is still 14 days.
With this feature, you can make better decisions when buying a card for renting out.
Columns:
- Name
- Level
- Foil
- Edition
- Rarity
- Element
- Role
- Rented/delisted: The number of rented/delisted cards calculated from the market sync snapshots
- Listed: The number of listed cards calculated from the market sync snapshots
- Last price: Current rental price
- Last quantity: Current quantity in the rental market
IMPORTANT: Like the Card Sale Activity feature, these numbers are not exact. The precision depends on the frequency of market snapshot taking. It reflects only the trends.
Feature: Bye-bye Soulkeep cards
I finished watching the Soulkeep card trends, as the main game has been down for more than one year. I played with it a lot, R.I.P.
UI: Reworked Edition filtering
Edition selection is now driven by two fields: Edition Set and Edition. The mapping is the same as in the main game:
UI: New filter: Bloodline
A new filter was introduced to find monsters with a certain Bloodline.
UI: Hiding "Black Market" cards
Cards with Gold Arcane, Black, and Black Arcane foils became hidden by default. You can show these types of cards with the Show cards on the "Black Market" switch button:
UI: Card thumbnails
On every list (Latest trends, My cards, My positions, My watchlist, Card Activities), I show the thumbnail of each card for a better visual experience. If you move the mouse over the thumbnails, the image will pop up:
Under the hood: Market synchronization
The frequency of the market synchronization increased. Currently, snapshots are taken every 20 minutes (previously, it was 60 minutes). This led to more precise numbers. My final goal is to perform a synchronization every 5 minutes.
TOP 3 UPCOMING DEVELOPMENTS
- Showing the best price/CC (formerly BCX) values in all lists
- Separation of sale & rental market trends
- Showing card activities in all lists and reports (EPIC)

Happy browsing!
