My Splinterlands cards wishlist
Hello everyone today I'll write an article about some Splinterlands cards which I want to buy in the close future. Most of them aren't that expensive, so I guess it won't take too long before I'll be able to get my hands on them. As I'm depending on the earnings from my bloggings for my Splinterlands purchases (a self made rule), It will ofcourse depend on how actively I will be blogging. But let's go to show you guys my wishlist! :D
Kelya Frendul
Kelya frendul is one of the rare summoners of the Chaos Legion set. At the moment of writing, he's the only one I'm still missing. He costs about $0,90 at the moment of writing, so should be able to acquire him soon. He's a nice, versatile sumoner as he gives +1 shield and +1 speed, while only costing 4mana. As you can see on above picture, he's a water element summoner.
Djinn Oshannus
Djinn Oshannus is a legendary monster, which used to be receivable as a reward in reward chests. The last edition which was tradeable. As he's legendary, I was never lucky enough to find one in my chests. So I'll have to buy him. At the moment of writing, he costs about $0,90 as well. He's quite strong as he has the void ability, so he's strong against magic teams, while having 2 magic damage himself. Besides the void ability, he has 5speed as well, which helps greatly with dodging melee attacks. If he gets hit, he has 10health, so he's able to tank some damage before dieing himself.
Axemaster
Axemaster is another Water element monster. This time it's one of the Untamed edition. He's a bit more expensive in regards to the previously mentioned cards, as he costs about $2.50 for 1 card. Tough for this price, he's able to deal quite some damage. He has 2 ranged attack and the double strike ability, so he can hit twice. He has a decent chanche of hitting his attack as he has 4speed. If you're able to place him in a spot where he doesn't get killed fast, than he'll be able to deal some decent damage!
Runemancer Kye
Runemancer Kye is on my wishlist as well, but as he's a bit more expensive, it will take some more time before I'll be able to buy this card. At the moment of writing, he costs about $10.50, which makes him the most expensive on my wishlist. For this price, you get a powerfull card though, which is especially usable in high mana battles, as it costs 11mana to use. It has 2magic attack which is always great! It's hard to kill it as it has the flying ability which helps it with dodging attacks while having 3speed as well. It has the life leech ability as well, which gives it even more health, making it even harder to kill her.
Torrent fiend
The torrent fiend is the latest card on my wishlist for the water element. As it costs 0 mana, it's always great to fill up some empty spaces. You could call it some kind of a meatshield. At the moment of writing, it costs about $1.65 which isn't that much if you consider how usefull it is.
Conclusion
All these cards cost together about $16.50 which isn't that much but still something. Although I'm sure these investments will help me to win more matches and thus earning more rewards. Ofcourse we have to consider the prices of the cards and what they could be worth in the future as well. I think that at the moment is a rather fine moment to add on to your collection. When the bull returns, I assume cards will start to climb in value as a rising tide lifts all boats, especially in the water element ;)
Thanks for reading my article, I hope you liked it!
How did I begin to play Splinterlands?
It all began in December 2021, I was a bit bored and was looking for a new game to play on my laptop. After googling a bit, I saw the term play2earn in my google results. I didn't know it at that time but it seemed awesome, earning money while playing games instead of spending money on those games. Soon I learned that play2earn means that you can indeed earn some money to play the games. How does it work? While playing those games, you can earn NFT's of those games. These NFT's can be traded and sold for cryptocurrencies which could be swapped for fiat if you would like to. That's how I started.
Do you want to try out Splinterlands aswell?
