In every project, one of the keys for it to succeed is having a solid community that supports you!
It needs people that believe in decision, and are still there to stick out for you in the changes you're making. This traits helped Splinterlands get to where it is now.
Aside from having a good community behind Splinterlands, one thing that made this game survive is it know how to collaborate, listen and take into consideration suggestion made by the community. This is very important in any organization because listening will always be a good trait to have to be able to know more what the people you're catering wants. You don't want people to lose interest in your project, so getting them involved is always a good way to go.
And now after years of staying in the sidelines , Splinterlands is now becoming a mainstream game that everyone is talking about. There maybe many changes that were made, many problems that were encountered, here it is still getting stronger as day pass. This is beacaue of the support that the community have given. For some people this is not just a game, but it is also a place where they meet other people and build different communities around it, where they talk things they have in common not only in Splinterlands but also in the real world.
For me personally solely playing Splinterlands, is not that much fun if not for the rewards I'm getting. It's been that way for months, but as time passes I meet other people joined some group chats and social media groups that when I started enjoying the game even more, we share battle strategies, we joke around things like weird line ups in battles and anythings Splinterlands. As days passed I discovered more things around spinterlands, I meet people with different status in life, with different ages and different races, this is when I realized It is not just about the game anymore.
Splinterlands has more to offer not just as a game but as a community itself. Maybe you've seen lots of groups discussion in theses game, you always see people saying Splinterlands community is not toxic unlike others out there. Give aways, free cards , free tokens and free companionships, this are just some of the things you see in every group or communities surrounding Splinterlands. Some even posts their relationship and frienships started here. Even some are providing assistance to gamer's that cant afford to play this game thru scholarships. Isn't it nice to see these happening in what others call a game, but providing significant change in once life.
In August this year will be my second year playing Splinterlands, these past few month nothing much happened to me but playing Splinterlands with the friends just accumulating assets in game. Until I came across a group led by 
TeamPh's goal is to help not only the game but also to represent Splinterlands Filipino Community.
