My favourite card to play is Diemonshark. I love his tankishness and so often I win battles with my team untouched, standing firm behind him. It was a no-brainer then for me to create my first piece of digital art.
I'm not an artist, but I have been exploring how artificial intelligence can contribute to a beautiful piece.
Tools:
WOMBO Art - AI Platform.
Canva
--
Come up with the right phrasing for the artificial intelligence to create a piece resembling what was in my head. This took a very long time and I played with many different phrases. The machine learning process responds to the words when placed in different places in the sentence.
--
Choose the frame for the end result to be produced in. I was playing a lot with dark fantasy and HD, but in the end it was Fantasy Art which produced the best piece. I did also enjoy the watercolours, but they wern't right for this character card.
--
When it was finished, I needed to take my final design over to Canva, this allowed me to create a .GIF file naming the character.
I initially had the shark animated, but ultimately decided to set it as a background image, instead, choosing only to manipulate the name.
This was my first piece of digital art, I learned the process just for this competition post, but I think I will definately use it again - it doesn't look time consuming, but it really was!
