Während es nach unten keine Begrenzung gibt, gibt es einen Mechanismus, den DEC-Preis nach oben zu limitieren.
Diese Operation, die oft auch als Burning bezeichnet wird, kostet aber eine Fee von 2.5%.
Das heißt es macht nur dann Sinn, wenn DEC über $1.025 steigt, SPS zu kaufen, SPS zu DEC zu konvertieren und die DEC dann zum Beispiel gegen HIVE oder HBD zu traden.
Der Nebeneffekt ist, dass diese Operation den Preis von SPS pusht. Gleich zwei mal. Direkt dadurch, dass in den meisten Fällen eben vorher SPS gekauft werden, um sie dann gewinnbringend zu konvertieren. Und zweitens durch das Verbrennen selbst, reduziert sich der Supply von SPS zusätzlich.
Man kann es auch als Wertetransfer von DEC zu SPS sehen, wenn plötzlich vermehrt DEC nachgefragt werden.
Grund ist diesmal der Launch von Land 1.5, wo man DEC staken muss, um Rewards zu erhalten und das hat die Nachfrage nach DEC dramatisch erhöht und sich in Folge positiv auf SPS ausgewirkt.

- Click on your SPS balance in the top navigation bar
- Click on the Convert button
- Enter the SPS amount you like to convert to DEC
- Press Confirm and sign the transaction with Hive Keychain
