Yo folks. hope it's going well for you all
So today I decided to try something new and buy some cards for modern so that I can try and compete a bit in there.
So far it hasn't really worked out... as is usual when you start at the bottom of the leagues Totem pole.
So these guys cost me just over $5.00 which isn't bad considering I got 17 gold foil cards. Now I'm hella broke and I need to get winning some SPS to cover what I spent 😅
On a serious note though, I need some help.
I'm not planning on buying a huge amount of cards for this test as I don't think I'm going to be able to make back what I spent quick enough, but I am hoping that this experiment gives me a good starting point for advertising to the new players who have started and maxed out Frontiers, and are considering stepping up into Modern play.
It has huge potential to go terribly wrong of course as I am not a great player and I am not spending big on this mini deck.
But, if this does work, then it's a great way to advertise that you don't require a $2000.00 deck to get started!
Any must have cards you lot can recommend to me that would increase the potential of this deck.
I plan to run the Foundations summoners, these gold cards alongside whatever reward cards I can earn with glint.
Currently sat around 8.5k SPS stake with the aim of getting to 10k if it is possible.
Then next season I'll hopefully manage to get to 25k rented and work from there.
