The end of the season is here and what the hell is going on with the price of SPS?!
Don't get me wrong, now is the time to buy, far too cheap to sell. So I am stacking AND I am buying more SPS of Hive Engine here: https://hive-engine.com/trade/SPS. Go on! Go buy some right now! Hahahaha!
Seriously though, a week ago(ed - 8 days actually) I posted my It's over 9000! post with my reference to the Dragon Ball Z meme that far too many people are too young to understand!
And now I am over 9400 SPS! So fast!
My goal is to have 10,000 SPS staked that I will never get rid of. I made this goal because realistically it meant that I would be able to achieve it and go far over and have something to work with afterward.
With the current prices, I should be able to get there quick and create a larger buffer for myself that I can get rewarded from.
Believe me, if I could have 100,000 or even 1,000,000 SPS I would! That's my opinion and take on it.
Surprise rewards!
On the 13th March I had this SWEET quest reward! A Chaos Legion Pack! Celebratory victory dance moves!
I am HODLing my Packs for Airdrop pickups and a bit of Investment. ANOTHER Splinterlands asset that you can just BUY the crap out of. It's a good idea. Nothing to label "financial advice" but really... if you had money flapping loose then you should.
Because this pack was won with my blood, sweat, and Pepsi I decided to open it and look what I got!
Oh yes! You perceive correct! It's Whacky the Dinosaur... from your imagination. I have had my eye on him and he is an Epic Chaos Legion card that I did not YET have.
Also got a Tarsa, nice!
I am getting close to having at least one card of everything in the set and I sort of feel like Thanos with my Infinity Gauntlet nearing completion.
I WAS saving up to BUY the Queen of Mushrooms but then the SPS price was too juicy to let stand. Hehe.

So I have this motto... strategy... thing. I am keeping 2 packs and opening 1 pack as I go alone. Since I pulled my Grund pack, I decided to keep this pack in reserve. Which sparks another topic of conversation!
Strategy Guide
Right now all assets in Splinterlands are HOT to own. You need cards! A card collection! You need summoners to summon those cards! You need SPS! You need to get card sale points for card airdrops! You need packs! All the packs! You need asset points for SPS Airdrops! Oh my!
So where do you begin?
Well... it depends where you are.
A friend of mine is new, has a small collection. I am giving him a hand but basically if he could buy anything it should be affordable Epic cards to add to his playing cards. That way he can fight with more OOMF!
On my side... I have a lot, I need a lot - of EVERYTHING.
So I cycle through stuff. I bought all the Fiends (the ones I was missing), great, then go for more SPS, then go for a pack, then look at leveling up a summoner.
I do not have this written out, but I am giving everything a bit of attention as I go along because, in reality, I need all of it and more. I do not have the capital to buy everything outright but showing up every day in Hive and posting and battling in Splinterlands with all the motivation and energy I have been putting into everything... well the results are there!
