So, I’ve been playing Splinterlands for sometime now, more like 4 days now, and honestly, ive had a few “what am I even doing?” moments 😅. I’ve always seen people posting about their rewards, ranked battles, and how they’re earning from the game and I jumped into it. At first, I was totally lost, now im just a little bit lost, which i consider to be a little progress. My battles? Brutal. I kept losing, especially in modern league. I saw some posts encouraging people to join guilds as such, I joined one because everyone said it’s a great way to grow faster, earn bonuses, and connect with other players. But honestly, as a beginner, I haven’t really gained anything from it yet. The guild perks sound amazing extra DEC rewards, brawl battles, and contribution bonuses but you need to actually contribute to the guild to benefit, and that takes resources I don’t have right now. I barely have enough DEC or SPS to even think about helping level up the guild buildings.
So right now, I’m kind of just there, watching and to be honest the guild I joined is just dormant and the top guilds are either filled up or just don’t accept my request, I guess im just not high enough in the rankings or levels. I’m not giving up though. I know once I build up my deck and start earning more, the guild benefits will start making sense. Still, as with most things I take it as a bit of a wake-up call , Splinterlands is definitely a game of patience or if you don’t have the patience throw money at the game. Being free-to-play means taking the longer path, but it also makes every win feel earned. When I beat someone with better cards using just starter monsters, that victory feels so much sweeter. So far, I haven’t made any big gains. No epic rewards or high-ranking achievements. Just small progress, learning, and slowly understanding how everything fits together. But that’s fine. I’m just enjoying the process right now.
