SCALES OF JUSTICE
STARTING POINT,GOLD 1(2,500) FROM LAST SEASON AFTER RE-ADJUSTING THE COUNT.
Today in Splinterlands, I’ve been grinding hard in Modern Ranked and Survival, and it’s been going splendidly in both tiers.
I resumed my Frontier Ranked battles from Gold I with a trophy count of 2,500. After collecting the 3 daily chests, I reached 2,820 trophies. My target is to hit 4,000 trophies, and I still have 6 days left until the end of the season.
PRESENT LEVEL.
However, one monster in Frontier ranked, has truly caught my attention and it’s none other than Scales of Justice, a Rare Fire unit from the Foundations set.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

After collecting the 3 daily chests that contains fifteen (15) foundation cards.I decided to up it to 10,by purchasing more 7chests.So I would be opening 50 foundation cards(10chests) instead of 15 foundation cards.
First 3 Chests (contains 15 foundation cards)
I got 3 Rare,2 Epic and one Legendary cards

Next 3 chests(15 cards)
Here was,3 Epic,2 Rare and one Legendary cards.

Last 3 chests(15 cards)
4 Rare cards, with Scales of Justice among.

The single chest to complete the total of 10chests(50 foundation cards)Just a Rare of another Scales of Justice.

FEATURED CARD:Now to the main topic of this post: Scales of Justice is a Rare Fire Saurian unit from the Foundations set in Splinterlands. Designed for the Frontier format,it is a solid, agile fighter that shines in ranked battles, especially when positioned to exploit its key strength: the Dodge ability.
At max level,it has a mana cost of 5,Armor 3,Health 6 aand Speed 5.
Accurate Abilities on Scales of Justice:
At level 1,it already have its abilities; Untrainable and Dodge.
Untrainable: (red crossed-out warrior icon) — Cannot be Weapons Trained (and since it has 0 attack, it will never attack).
Dodge(Blue swirl icon): +25% chance to evade melee and ranged attacks.
With Dodge + Speed 5, this unit has a very high chance to completely evade melee and ranged attacks.Frustrating the opponent, wasting their turns, and giving your other units time to finish the game.
Because it has no attack, its job is purely to tank and evade. It soaks up aggression while your damage dealers clean house.

Battle.
Rulesets,plan and lineup.
The total cost of this battle was 25 and you are to choose units from fire, earth, life and Death splinters.
The rules are;
- Divine Shield– Every monster started with a shield that absorbed the first hit.
- Opportunity – Units with Opportunity could target any enemy position.
My Team (Fire Splinter)
Summoner: Barthalamas – Grants +1 Speed to all my units (huge boost for Dodge and attack order).
Position 1: (Tank): Scales of Justice (Level 4) – Untrainable + Dodge.
Position 2: Frankarsgard – Melee attacker with Enrage.
Position 3: Chaos Furybringer – Melee attacker with Reach.
Opponent’s Team
Summoner: Thalgrimore – Applied -1 Health to all my units (a strong debuff).
Tank: Nim Guard Captain – Melee with Void.
Position 2: Savage Butcher – Melee with Reach.
Position 3: Arcane Curator – Untrainable monster with Backfire.

Detailed Battle Breakdown;
My opponent came with a pure melee-heavy lineup. On paper, it looked threatening, especially with Thalgrimore’s health reduction with reach attacker. However, Scales of Justice became the ultimate leverager and tank. From the very first round:
Thanks to Divine Shield, Scales absorbed the opening hit for free. Then its Dodge ability (combined with Speed 5 boosted by Barthalamas) went to work.My opponent focused fire on my tank, but Scales dodged approximately in the early rounds. Each miss was a wasted turn for the opponent. While the Nim Guard Captain, Savage Butcher, and Arcane Curator were swinging at air, my Frankarsgard (with Enrage) and Chaos Furybringer (with Reach) capitalized on the Opportunity ruleset. They tore through the opponent’s backline and eventually overwhelmed the front tank.
Scales of Justice stayed alive far longer than expected, soaking pressure and creating the perfect window for my damage dealers to finish the job. It was a classic “tank and spank” scenario where the dodgy lizard single-handedly tilted the momentum.
Line up.
Round 1,Scene 5, first miss and this is how it continues till the final round.
Round 6, fifth and last miss.
Game Over.Watch the Replay

There are some rulesets you cannot use Scales of justice:
1.Aim True! What it does: All melee and ranged attacks gain True Strike. This means they never miss.
Effect on Scales:Its Dodge ability is completely nullified.
Enemies will hit it 100% of the time with physical attacks.
2.Back to Basics Ruleset
What it does: All monsters lose their abilities (except certain summoner-granted ones).
Effect on Scales:
It loses Dodge entirely.
3.Magic is the biggest weakness of this card. Magic-heavy teams (especially Water, Life, or Dragon splinters) will melt Scales of Justice much faster than physical teams.
Overall,study the rulesets.
