Good morning, warriors! The season is still fresh — how’s the grinding going so far? Win or lose, there’s always something awesome to learn.
Last season, in one of my posts (read it here), I talked about my love for dual-attack monsters. I went ahead to mention the ones I really liked, and Nephket was among the dual-attack monsters I highlighted. At the time, I didn’t have her in my collection.
But this new season, I rented Nephket, and she has truly shown how formidable she is in the few battles where I’ve featured her.She's been outstanding.I became interested in Nephket because of how effectively she executes her Stun and Knock Out abilities.
Out of approximately 38 monsters across all splinters that have the Stun ability, Nephket stands out because she has Stun available at Level 1, combined with her strong dual attacks (Melee+Ranged).
Other monsters, like the ones shown below, only unlock their Stun ability from Level 2 upwards.

Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

FEATURED CARD:
Nephket is a powerful Legendary Promo Card from the Hall of Legends series (Rebellion era).She is a Life/Water Canisan jackal warrior equipped with dual attacks (Melee + Ranged) and strong control tools.
This high-impact monster is especially feared for her disruptive control and explosive burst potential through the powerful Stun + Knock Out synergy.
At max level;
It has mana cost of 7, health 5, Speed 3, Ranged attack 1,Melee attack 4 and No armor.
Complete Abilities
Nephket gains powerful tools as she levels up:
At level 1(Bronze),she has both the sneak and stun abilities.Sneak :Targets the last monster on the enemy team (instead of the front). If the last has Camouflage, she hits the second-to-last. Perfect for sniping healers, mages, or backline threats.
Stun: 50% chance on a successful hit (usually attacks with ranged first) to stun the target. Stunned units skip their next turn and cannot retaliate (no Thorns/Return Fire during that turn).

At level 2,(Silver),it unlocks the Knockout ability.Knock Out: Deals double damage when attacking a Stunned enemy. This creates massive burst potential.
At level 3 (Gold),it gains another ability called the Divine Shield 🛡️.Divine Shield: Ignores the first instance of damage each battle. Excellent for surviving focus fire.
At max level (Diamond),It unlocks her last ability, Piercing.Piercing: Excess Melee/Ranged damage after armor goes straight to health. Strong against tanky armored teams.
Market ValueImportant Note:Nephket is not a regular Modern Legendary — she is a limited Hall of Legends Promo card. With only 228 copies in circulation,she commands a high market price.This makes renting her a very smart move for testing her power without the huge upfront cost! At the moment,It is been sold for about $77

The Battles:
Stun and knockout abilities of Nephket well explained in these two epic battles.It was a beauty 😍 to behold watching Nephket doing Stun and knockout.I rented her at level 4(Max)
The total mana cost of this battle was 53,and you are to choose splinters from fire,life and dragon.The rulesets are;
fallen angels and might makes right
Without much ado, my summoner was incessant sage with +1 armor.It is always important you protect Nephket,since she doesn't have armor.
Battle 1,this is how she does it;
First Attack (Ranged)
Nephket used her Ranged attack and did 1 damage (-1 shown).
Stun is triggered, the stun symbol appeared on the enemy.
Second Attack (Melee)
Because the target was already Stunned, Nephket’s Knock Out ability activated.
Her Melee attack of 3 damage was doubled and 6 damage (-6 shown).
This is the perfect demonstration of Nephket’s combo:
Stun on the first hit and Knock Out (double damage) on the second hit.
Round 1,Scene 10,Stun attack,first with his +1 ranged attack,you can see the stun symbol as captured
Round 1,Scene 11,Second attack(follow up), with the melee and dropping a damage of -6 as capured
Round 2,a repeat of Round 1
Round 3,second victim of Nephket
Round 3, completing the attack with knockout
Round 6,in this round when she landed with his ranged attack stun was not activated,hence knockout was not activated as well on her second attack,using the melee attack.Every thing was normal
Game Over, Nephket single handedly took out three monsters in this battle

In this battle my summoner was Elias Max Pruitt, granting +1 armor and +1melee to all friendly units.It therefore means Nephket, would now have ranged attack 1, Melee attack 4.So for the stun and knockout you would see -1 damage and -8 damage respectively.
STUN
KNOCKOUT
I lost Nephket,but won the battle

My Experience So Far.
Renting Nephket this season has been rewarding. Nephket is a formidable Legendary that rewards aggressive, disruptive play. Her Stun + Knock Out combo, combined with dual attacks and Sneak, makes her one of the more exciting modern cards for players who enjoy control-oriented strategies. At max level with good positioning, she can single-handedly swing battles by removing key enemy pieces.
Though weak in rulesets like Return Fire, Thorns, Fog of War, Little League, and any that disable Melee or Ranged.So always try and protect her at all cost.
