This new contest is about “How I came to Ecency/Hive”
I was introduced to hive by a very close friend of mine who is eventually my course-mate at the university,
I decided to do a lot of research on Hive and it turned out to be pretty good and a very good place to be.
Ecency or Hive is a platform that values freedom of speech, privacy and the ability to earn rewards for creating blogs or contents across so many communities.
Its distinctive social media strategy and use of blockchain technology captured my interest. I quickly learned that Hive was decentralized, which meant that content could be submitted without concern of censorship or deleted because it was not governed by a single entity or government.
The most fascinating aspect of Hive was it rewarding system. Users could earn cryptocurrency in the form of tokens by contributing to the platform through posting, commenting, and upvoting contents.

I have mostly enjoyed my trip to Hive. I've found a platform that appreciates my work, and offers a friendly and encouraging community. I’ve been on ecency/hive for less than a month now and I’ve made a few great friends like
