Technically my default music to listen to has for the longest time been mostly metal. Rock is in general just better than all of the other types, it is so broad also so can eat everything. Gobble gobble.
Fortunately, I don't listen to the radio and I stay away from charts. I don't have that green icon music thingy but I do have youtube recommendations.
For the most part they get it right, for everything else you just have to poke a little and maybe get some cool recommendations from people.
So here is a short playlist I have been playing on loop for the better part of a week, mixed in with others also but definitely making sure these land in there somewhere a few times in the day.
Billy Raffoul - I'm Not A Saint (Official Audio)
Mehro - "lightning" (Official Video)
Weathers - happy pills lyrics
Flora cash - You're Somebody Else (Lyric Video)
Air Traffic Controller - This Is Love (Lyrics)
Ghostly Kisses - Live at Le Grand Salon
After those you may switch back to whatever new recommendations have been generated by Youtube, follow some playlists, maybe pop in "Dark Academia Alternative".
Today these songs found their way in between some Vivaldi, Bach and just a general attempt to find some good aggressive classical dubstep or trap music. In the end, it turns out that most of the originals are fine as they are.
When I work these songs are also a nice intro into the more instrumental-only playlists, 3 hours of classical playing in the next room while it rains maybe?
Soon Youtube will catch on and I will have culminated the most epic, Epic Orchestral Celtic Folk Alternative Metal Classical Trap Music playlist for a 48 hour day playing in the next room, this room and on the roof while it rains, thunders and waves crash.
Enjoy.
