I know we are supposed to share game photography, but I would be remiss in my retelling of my Wizarding World experience if I didn't take a moment to share some details about the wand that saw me through two and half years of game play.
As you can see in the photo above my wand was 12 3/4" long and was made from Cherry wood with a Phoenix Feather and was "Slightly Yielding". I figured all that flicking and movement to cast spells meant I would need some slight bendy movement.
I was rather pleased with my wand selection. It felt right and suited me well.
Although this is a virtual wand for game play, I do have an actual wand from a visit to Universal Studio's Harry Potter's World a few years back. If you've never been before, book your trip. Soooooo worth it. Very immersive and an all around great time.
