Hoy me acordé de esta frase que en su momento por casualidad escuché y me puse a pensar que a veces se nos pasa la vida tratando de conseguir cosas que nos hagan verdaderamente felices, pero el detalle es que cuando logramos conseguirlas nos sentimos felices unos días y después se nos pasa porque queremos más.

Today I remembered this phrase that I heard by chance and I started thinking that sometimes we spend our lives trying to get things that make us really happy, but the detail is that when we get them we feel happy for a few days and then we pass because we want more.

Por ejemplo: hay personas que no tienen mucho dinero y piensan que serían muy felices si algún día se les cumpliera sus sueños, unos los buscan de manera fácil como jugando a la lotería, otros se meten en negocios turbios que al final lo único que logran es meterse en serios problemas, mientras que otros se esfuerzan, trabajan duro y lo logran pero al final siempre es lo mismo se sienten vacíos por dentro.

For example: there are people who do not have much money and think they would be very happy if someday their dreams come true, some look for them in an easy way like playing the lottery, others get into shady business that in the end the only thing they achieve is to get into serious trouble, while others strive, work hard and succeed but in the end it is always the same, they feel empty inside.

Hay quienes se queman las pestañas estudiando una carrera de prestigio para conseguir un excelente trabajo remunerador o montar su propio negocio y cuando logran sus metas su felicidad no es total ya que mientras más responsabilidades tenemos más abrumados y más aún cuando es un negocio que es propio.

There are those who burn their eyelashes studying a prestigious career to get an excellent paying job or start their own business and when they achieve their goals their happiness is not total because the more responsibilities we have the more overwhelmed and even more so when it is a business that is their own.

Otros sueñan con casarse, tener una linda casa, pero empiezan los problemas y no tienen la menor idea de cómo enfrentarlos, después deciden tener hijos para así afianzar su unión pero lamentablemente unos lo logran, pero otros no y después se dan cuenta que aunque los hijos los hacen felices ellos desean algo más.

Others dream of getting married, having a nice house, but problems start and they have no idea how to face them, then they decide to have children to strengthen their union but unfortunately some succeed, but others do not and then they realize that although children make them happy they want something more.

Otros por su parte piensan que serían felices si tuvieran un carro lujoso y cuando logran conseguilo se percatan de que eso en realidad no los hace felices del todo, mientras que hay otros que dicen que serían felices si pudieran viajar por todo el mundo y tal vez mientras lo hacen se sienten realmente felices pero cuando llega el día de la verdad de regresar a casa se dan cuenta que eso tampoco los hizo del todo felices.

Others think that they would be happy if they had a luxurious car and when they get it they realize that it does not really make them happy at all, while there are others who say they would be happy if they could travel around the world and maybe while they do it they feel really happy but when the day of truth comes when they return home they realize that it did not make them happy either.

Entonces la realidad es que a veces como dije al principio a muchos se nos va la vida tratando de adquirir cosas que creemos que nos van a ser felices por siempre, pero la triste realidad es otra... es por estás razones que debemos tratar de ser felices con lo poco o mucho que tengamos, porque a veces las cosas simples de la vida como ir a la playa, comer en familia, tomarse un café con nuestros amigos o con nuestros padres, sembrar una planta de flores y verla crecer día a día con nuestros cuidados, tener un perro o un gato y pasar tiempo con ellos, hacer una reunión con nuestros familiares, amigos y bailar hasta más no poder y cosas así por el estilo pueden hacernos verdaderamente felices, por tal razón no dejemos que se nos pase la vida diciendo yo sería feliz cuando consiga todas las cosas buenas de la vida porque al final todo eso es vanidad, así como correr tras el viento, sabiendo que nunca lograremos alcanzarlo y esto es porque no lo vemos solo podemos sentirlo.
