Todo preparado para recibir a mis 33 niños. [ESP-ENG]

Hola Hive. Soy madre de dos hijos biológicos pero como soy maestra cada año tengo 30 hijos adicionales, este año escolar 2022-2023 tendré 33 estudiantes de 2do grado de primaria, niños de 6 y 7 años de edad. Esta es una edad que me encanta porque están en la disposición de absorber todo el conocimiento y experiencias que les desees transmitir.

Hello Hive. I am a mother of two biological children but since I am a teacher every year I have 30 more children, this academic year 2022-2023 I will have 33 children in 2nd grade, 6 and 7 years old. It is an age that I love because they are ready to absorb all the knowledge and experiences that you want to transmit to them.

Mis vacaciones de verano terminaron el 16 de septiembre cuando las maestros volvimos a nuestra aula de clases, desde ese momento comenzó el duro trabajo de mantenimiento, embellecimiento y ambientación de los salones para prepararlos para la llegada de los niños que con tanta ilusión desean volver a sus aulas y ver a sus amiguitos además de conocer a su nueva maestra.

Summer vacation ended on September 16, when we teachers returned to our classrooms. From that moment on, the hard work of maintaining, beautifying and decorating the classrooms began to prepare them for the arrival of the children who are so eager to return to their classrooms and see their friends and meet their new teacher.

Cuando llegué y vi mi salón casi me dan ganas de llorar, me parecía que no iba a tener tiempo para arreglar todo. Inmediatamente convoque a mis representantes para empezar con el trabajo, así que el lunes 19 se empezó a pintar las paredes, se tuvo que pasar varias capas de pintura ya que el color actual es más claro. Pero lo bueno es que a final de semana ya estaba listo para la limpieza.

When I arrived and saw my living room I almost felt like crying, it seemed to me that I was not going to have time to fix everything. I immediately called my representatives to start with the work, so on Monday 19th I started painting the walls, it took me several coats of paint since the current color is lighter. But the good thing is that by the end of the week it was ready for cleaning.

Este lunes con ayuda de otros representantes y personal de limpieza lavamos el piso y limpiamos ventanas y mobiliario. Nos llevo toda la mañana este trabajo pero ya a medio día vimos la luz en el horizonte porque todo se veía diferente y solo quedaba ambientar.

This Monday, with the help of other representatives and the cleaning staff, we washed the floor and cleaned the windows and furniture. This work took us all morning, but by noon we saw the light on the horizon because everything looked different and all that was left to do was to set the scene.

Siguiendo las orientaciones del ministerio de educación para el comienzo del año escolar, la ambientación debería estar centrada en la Navidad. Si, a la navidad, suena un poco extraño, navidad en octubre. El caso es que cumplí con las orientaciones, desempolvando y decorando mi hermosa aula de clases.

Following the guidelines of the Ministry of Education for the beginning of the school year, the setting should focus on Christmas. Yes, Christmas, it sounds a bit strange, Christmas in October. The fact is that I complied with the guidelines, dusting and decorating my beautiful classroom.

Como maestras hacemos eso y más para que nuestros estudiantes se sientan comodos en el lugar donde viene a aprender y es necesario que este sitio sea agradable y cumpla con algunas especificaciones como iluminación y siento que con este nuevo color quedo más iluminado y hasta más grande. No se si son ideas mías.

As teachers we do that and more so that our students feel comfortable in the place where they come to learn and it is necessary that this place is pleasant and meets some specifications such as lighting and I feel that with this new color it is more illuminated and even bigger. I don’t know if these are my ideas.

Ya mañana conoceré a mis niños de este año, estoy muy emocionada porque siento que se van a llevar una sorpresa cuando lleguen y vean como quedo el salón de clases. Espero que les guste como a mi porque el trabajo que se hizo es para ellos y por ellos.

Tomorrow I will meet my children for this year, I am very excited because I feel they are going to be surprised when they arrive and see what the classroom is like. I hope they like it as much as I do because the work that was done is for them and by them.

Espero que cada uno de nuestros hijos sean recibidos en sus escuelas en un ambiente agradable para ellos, yo se que en este país es difícil pero con ganas, dedicación y trabajo si se puede.

I hope that each of our children are received in their schools in a pleasant environment for them, I know that in this country it is difficult but with desire, dedication and work it is possible.
