Realizo comparaciones de la mano humana con la de otros primates evidenciando el hecho de estar muy por encima en capacidades de manipulación, especialmente en las acciones prensiles de agarre de precisión y de poder. Además, aunque no estrictamente relacionada con la mano, la habilidad humana única de lanzamiento de objetos que involucra al brazo, flexión del codo, rotación del hombro y rotación del torso por la cintura móvil, todas características anatómicas, que como medio para cazar, tuvieron un papel importante en la evolución del género Homo.

I make comparisons of the human hand with that of other primates evidencing the fact that it is far superior in manipulative capabilities, especially in the prehensile actions of precision grip and power. In addition, although not strictly related to the hand, the unique human ability to throw objects involving the arm, elbow flexion, shoulder rotation and rotation of the torso by the mobile waist; all anatomical features, which as a means of hunting, played an important role in the evolution of the genus Homo.
